Story

Hello. Welcome to Nuffield Health Fitness & Wellbeing, an innovative approach to your health and fitness.

If you've belonged to a traditional health club before, you probably feel a bit underwhelmed by the general level of facilities and service once you've signed up.

But we're not interested in just getting you to sign up and then ignoring you. Our aim is to improve your wellbeing for the long-term by helping you to actively take control of your health. And we do this by offering a combination of fitness facilities, health services and expert staff that you’ll find hard to beat.

Since joining in December I have been blown away by the place. Only slightly more than local leisure center but miles ahead in service.  The pool area is always clean and relaxing and there are plenty of classes on offer.  Even peak times in the gym there are plenty of pieces of equipment available. The staff are great and you are always welcomed by a lovely staff member on reception who are always happy to help if needed.  Plus there is a great cafe!

Not worth the money. Something is out of order every week, staff act like you owe them something. About 50% of people in the gym are on repeat free passes, real members are continuously milked in full. I know a few friends who have had repeat 1 month, 10 day passes etc. Can't wait for my contract to expire so I can move on. Don't make my mistake.

Maintenance is extremely poor at this place, yet they keep taking your full monthly membership. For the last month the steam bath has been out of action and nothing has been done. The spinner to dry your swimming trunks has been out of action for the last week or so and still not sorted. One of the shower door is missing, offering no privacy and is still not replaced. Sometimes machines are out of action and they don't get fixed quickly. Seems like poor management when it comes to fixing things.

Equipment and space for workout is spot on for the volume of people when I go from 4pm to 6pm. I've never had issues with getting on equipment so long may that continue. I don't use the swimming and sauna so I can't comment but from viewing, it seems a good size swimming area for a relaxing swim, I guess if you want bigger you go to a proper swimming facility. Staff are always friendly and helpful. I've enjoyed the facility so far

Does anybody know hom much the gym membership is as it says in the site £44 a month and not to sure if this is right as it's a bit expensive thanks🤔
