Gorgeous food, lovely atmosphere and a very warm welcome. What's not to like? It was so good, we went back twice - partly because the dessert menu was so full of tasty things we all wanted to have some different - but also felt we were unlikely to find better locally and didn't want to be disappointed. It's one of those rare places where nothing let's it down. Staff were friendly and attentive, food excellent, decor tasteful, and I've paid a lot more for meals nowhere near as good. If you're in the area, book in and enjoy. But save room for afters!

You have to try the Scotch eggs..... Seriously. Amazing wine list, fantastic hosts, food to die for and amazing ales. All within a short walk (5 Steps) of very well presented rooms in a beautiful coach house. Could not recommend it strongly enough.

On way home with my daughter we needed a stop, as walk through the doors we are welcomed with open arms, an after explaining our long day we were offered the use of the toilets. My daughter an I ordered food which was fresh, quickly made and excellent quality!! Would suggest a random stop anytime and maybe an overnight stay..

We had a lovely stay. Very welcoming. Provided us with lots of information for our visit around Somerset. Lovely food and room.
