An unusual but extremely interesting venue located at the Eastern end of Cardiff Bay, the Norwegian Church was relocated to that position from its native country, complete with many artefacts, including the font in which author Ronald Dahl was christened, plus an art exhibition and details of the building's origins etc.nOutside is a mosaic sculpture of Captain Scott's ill-fated expedition to the South Pole, with commemorative plaques around the outside.nFascinating and well worth a visit!
I've been at a wildlife photography exhibition here for 2 weeks, and I can't fault the Norwegian Church Arts Centre at all. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the food is absolutely fantastic, and the building itself is really important to Cardiff and Wales as a whole. Definitely recommended popping in to see the rotating exhibits and grabbing a drink, cake, or hot meal while you look across the bay.
Walked along the harbour to the church/arts centre. My friend had a waffle with Norwegian cheese which she enjoyed very much
Great little cafe and art centre that hosts exhibitions and music. The Cafe is dog friendly. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We only had coffees but they were good quality.
I like this place, it has quite nice atmosphere, and a nice art gallery upstairs. Just had a coffee there and enjoyed my view from the window.
