Fantastic experience!nnI went with a group of 14 for a stag do and everyone was talking about how much fun they had for the rest of the weekend.nnWhen we arrived the front desk staff were friendly and joined in with our jokes while quickly signing us in.nnWe were able to watch others going down the rapids from the viewing area while we waited for our timeslot which was helpful for the few of us who were a little nervous as it let them know what to expect.nnWhen it was time to start we were given our wetsuits and split into 3 rafts along with the instructors Carl, Alex and Iain. Shout out to Alex, who was steering my raft. He was clear with his instructions and making sure we worked as a team while going down the rapids and then having a laugh and pointing out interesting things about the centre in the calmer moments. I can't comment on specifics for Carl or Iain as they were in  the other rafts but everyone in our group was very complimentary about them too.nnThe rapids themselves seem to allow for various levels of difficulty depending on the placement and direction of the raft meaning that even though we went down the same course a number of times, we were able to start slow and then really get into it by the end. The course ends on a large area of still water before taking the rafts up a large conveyor belt to the top again.nnBeing a stag do, we loved that once we had all had a few runs under our belts and were paddling in the calm water, the instructors gave us the challenge to board the other rafts and push each other into the water to make sure no-one left dry.nnWe did have a few people fall from the rafts during the rapids but they didn't feel unsafe at any point. One of them just lay on his back and enjoyed the ride down the rapids.nnGreat day out. Can't recommend enough!
Attended a stand-up paddleboarding taster session at the centre. All the equipment was provided with decent changing rooms a pound coin required for the locker to get into the wetsuits.nnThe instructor was very clear and the every task moved skills forward a little, with an appropriate amount of information given at each step. The session took place in calm waters and a supportive environment was created by the instructor.nnWould definitely attend another activity at the centre - also fun to watch the white water rafts and kayaks making their way down the rapids
Absolutely brilliant experience. I've got one daughter who want to tone up and another daughter who wants to develop strength in her shoulders.nThe kayaking for £10!! With a 1.5 hour experience was the best thing money could by to get outdoors and exercise.nI think this is going to be a regular thing. Brilliant, friendly instructor brought a lot of fun to the experience such as challenging up to stand up on the kayaks / swap over kayaks without falling in.
Absolutely brilliant, kids loved it! We went for a body boarding session on the Flow Wave in half term and it was fab. Instructors and staff were friendly and helpful, session itself was fantastic fun! Facilities are well maintained, clean. Easy to park and get to. Would definitely do again and recommend to other!
I tried the paddle boarding for the first time, and I loved it. Our instructor, Kim, was brilliant. The atmosphere was really relaxed and was all about you making the most of the session. We were lucky to get good weather on the day, just to top off the experience.
