Lovely little garden centre fully accessible for wheelchairs. Lovely cafeteria which serves meals, drinks and a range of home baked cakes.the food was reasonable, home cooked and delicious. Disabled parking and toilets available and plenty of parking besides. The garden centre isn't particularly big and doesn't have a huge choice of plants but it's enough to purchase plants for a small area. Good range of gifts and cards available along with a range of seasonal goods.
It had the Christmas decorations out they were lovely. It's a nice little garden centre. Staff are friendly too .
Two adult meals and a toddler had food. Pot of tea for two.. quite expensive for what we had £32. A pie meal is now £9.99 with stodgy overfried chips, £7.99 for cheese oatcake Garners garden centre only charge £4.80. Thing is once I paid at the til I should if just cancelled my order. Overhaul I spent £45 with items from the garden centre too.nI have unfortunately had two tummy surgeries and I forgot to take a food container. I asked for a piece of tin foil so I could take my food away as I struggled to eat it. I was told no as its against policy.nThe manager Nick said no as it would be classed as a take away and to do that it involves too much paper work with health & safety. I only asked for a bit of tin foil.nHe said its not a takeaway like Mc Donalds, and maybe I should of had a snack. But they don't have snacks only a few sparce cakes.nWhen I eat out due to my condition everyone has been so polite& helpful , in cafes ,& restaurants, unlike Northwood.. I still like to be able to socialise with family and friends.nThere is no alternative child menu or small plates menu to chose.nWhich is strange as the garden centre have beautiful singing reindeer and an array of perfect Christmas displays for children and adults to thoroughly enjoy.nSimple I will take my money to a nice friendly cafe like Mados or Garners in Newcastle-under-Lyme, where you get a lovely warm welcome. Or Mc Donald's as the manager Nick hinted !
It was OK. The mai reason was we wanted to visit the cafe. The cafe had limited options for breakfast however they were nice. The garden centre had everything you would expect.
Used to be very good, only average now,ok for tea coffee and cake
