having visited a competitor to find obsolete window mechanisms and been told there was no chance of any kind of replacement I happened across Northwest Hardware Ltd. I was well served by their Stockport branch in terms of advice but visited their Warrington shop.There were two young chaps there running the operation who couldn't have been more helpful, thoughtful and efficient. My mum had lost her bag containing her keys and info which had her address on, so we needed to change the front door barrel. I’d never heard of Northwest Hardware Ltd but a quick google search highlighted them, and they are only a few hundred meters from my mums front door! The guys in the shop along with a locksmith buying items were very helpful, I ended up buying a Sold Secure Diamond level Era barrel for half the price Northwest Hardware Ltds competitors are selling them for! And my mum saved £100 off the price the council were about to charge!
