Just found out though ee that if you call the surgery on your mobile the 0116 number is swapped for a premium rate number! Beware!

Very! Poor service from the phone call to make an appointment to seeing my doctor. Had no compassion or even any interest in my problems. In and out in two minutes chucked a prescription at me for some antibiotics and said see me in a month. Atfer seeing another doctor at the walk in centre that was rushed off there feet but still had a smile on there face and a sympathetic ear I can say I will never return to Northfield Medical Centre.

Absolutely shocking level of service. I suffer from a serious long term illness and have only just joined the surgery. I delivered my first repeat prescription and later realised that it had not been processed properly, with one very important item of medication having not been included on the prescription to my pharmacist. I called them up to rectify this and they refused to discuss the issue over the phone saying that all prescriptions had to be done in person. I explained that the item had already been ordered and it was a matter of emergency to get this processed asap as it was coming up to a bank holiday weekend which meant I would be without medication for a significant period. They said the issue was not their fault and that they would not discuss it over the phone. They showed no empathy for my circumstances and my lack of mobility and were happy to wash their hands of the issue. They then terminated the call. I have spoken to other patients and apparently issues with repeat prescriptions are not uncommon and each time they pass blame on to the patient rather than take any ownership themselves.
