My son found the Kung fu lessons fun and enjoyable, his confidence grew as the months went by. Sifu Bryan is an excellent Kung fu teacher has vast experience.
My 8yo loves Sifu Bryan's classes. He has been going for about 6 months and was initially shy but skipped into the 2nd lesson without a backward glance. He leaves happy, confident and energised and loves practising his new moves. Bryan is great with the kids, he is kind, passionate and motivates them to be their best. They learn new skills and improve their physical and mental health. Fantastic!
Great class that teaches the kids a wide range of skills. My 7 year old has developed in confidence and technique in the few months he has been attending and loves taking part in class. Sifu Bryan is very good with the kids, being patient and gentle whilst guiding them to push themselves and grow week on week, a joy to watch!
I can't recommend Northern Praying Mantis Kung Fu and Sifu Bryan highly enough. The training is high quality and delivered in a fun and welcoming environment that inspires the young participants to push themselves. Sifu Bryan is an excellent communicator and brilliant with the kids, particularly those who are a bit hesitant initially. The fact that so many continue with Northern Praying Mantis into adulthood says a lot.
Our two boys attend the kids sessions every Saturday and they look forward to it every time! Sifu Bryan delivers fun, energetic sessions while teaching the principles of ancient Kung Fu praying mantis style. There is a lot too learn and expectations are high. Our kids have really flourished with their training and it has certainly boosted their fitness, wellbeing and confidence!
I am having an amazing time learning Kung Fu at Northern Praying Mantis Kung Fu with Sifu Bryan. He is a very knowledgeable and patient instructor who teaches authentic and effective martial arts. I am learning a lot of skills and techniques that improve my strength, flexibility, coordination and confidence. The classes are fun, challenging and rewarding. But more than that, they also help me discover the warrior within. I am learning how to face my fears, overcome my challenges and unleash my potential. This is not just a martial art, it's a way of life. Northern Praying Mantis is a unique tradition with techniques that work on the street, but it is also tied to spiritual practice. It is a very old and rare style that is hard to find anywhere else. This practice in North London is likely to be the only one of its kind in the U.K. I feel very lucky and grateful to be part of it. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to learn Kung Fu from a true master. Thank you Shifu Brian for sharing your passion and wisdom with me!
My son has been taking kung fu with Sifu Brian and it is the only class he finds really engaging. He isn't a sporty person but the dedication and style Sifu uses has inspired him to make extra effort even practising at home. He is a gentle teacher teaching beyond the physical motions and inspires the kids to also mentally be engaged and present. Highly recommend his class
My daughter has really enjoyed her experience with the Northern Praying Mantis Kung-Fu school. Sessions are hard work and fun. Sifu Bryan's enthusiasm and energy is catching and the class always leave happy and excited by what they have learnt. I would highly recommend classes!
The Northern Praying Mantis School of Kung Fu, run by Sifu Bryan My son Ty, has attended this school for a number of years now and on starting his journey with Sifu, my son not only jelled with his teacher and class on the offset but he has grown to love it even more over the years. My son Ty has learned so many techniques which he is finding invaluable for life. Knowing that he is more equipped physically and mentally through Sifus teachings. I cannot recommend this Kung Fu school enough, as Sifu not only teaches to a very high standard he also engages with his students and guides and supports them with general life issues and shows them how they can use what they have been taught to navigate through physical and emotional experiences. My son has been training with Sifu Bryan for the last 2 and a half years, and the level of increased fitness, confidence, discipline, character and martial skills and expertise he has developed during this time, has been exceptional! Sifu Bryan is an excellent teacher and role model, with an amazing upbeat energy, who is always great to be around, and my son is always buzzing and in high spirits after every session! He is a rare individual who lives and breathes Northern Praying Mantis, with all the qualities you need in a teacher and mentor,, and i can't recommend a better teacher than him, nor a better martial art than learning Northern Praying Mantis!
