Shame this GP surgery has gone downhill so much, been a patient for over 30 years, it used to be excellent. Saw a nurse on Monday, I needed new treatment still waiting for it to be actioned on Friday! According to rude receptionist this is normal for the Doctors to take so long. She also wouldn’t let me make review asthma appointment even though I have written evidence asking me to do so, as according to her it is not normal practice. She then slammed the phone down.
DR V. SHANMUGHAM I suppose this is dr Venila ??? the only GP who doesn't seem to be referred to as or by her actual name ??? also as you can't give lower than * 1 star or higher than 5 and most people only complain when things have been at least really really bad regularly not forgetting the possibilities of employees and friends and family and those who are treated much better than the rest and the most being encouraged to add lots of good reviews an average of often way below 3 really isn't good statistically or otherwise.... also like many organisations some people are 5* and some less than 1* as well as everything inbetween: the really good staff often seem frustrated with constraints and the really poor staff often rude and displaying an inverse correlation between competence and arrogance ....... surely these problems could be solved by a management overhaul / restructure and then the right team should be able to solve the problems 5*****s for Dr Kucharuk Dr Mitra Dr Onaji and Physicians Associate note I didn't abbreviate to avoid accusations of Sardonicism or worse Paul Wolfe Please good peeps continue to uphold the 4 pillars of medicine or even just common decency and you'll still be way above ...... ??? .......
I joined this practice about 5yrs ago ,they have all been brilliant caring professional doctors, nurses and healthcare assistants my husband, plus adult children also attend this practice.
Poor experience today. Receptionist at the HLC site quite rude on the phone. EXTREMELY difficult to see a GP, or even get a telephone call, had to go to a & e.

DONT SIGN UP WITH THIS PRACTICE IF YOU WANT TO BE POORLY TREATED!!! Treated very poorly and discriminated against by handful of team members of this practice, with long term health problems affecting me, write bad records on my medical notes, mocks you on phone calls!! mocking and laughing at fact they messed me about with medication in practice, I’ve been called discriminated names upon first call with doctor, rude and inconsiderate people who work with the team, I’ve also seen them treat others like this which as practice of care no one should be treated with such distress and disrespectful behaviour in any professional situation!! , I won’t be allowing anyone to treat me in such way shape or form !! wrongly discriminated against, and medical care dismissed, won’t see you for anything serious illness, gets dismissed by them, they have you in the within few hours for minor illness, no medical problems have been addressed correctly by them from startup, waste of time and leaving other to be stressed out for sure, don’t sign with them they don’t deserve nhs payment for poor medical care and health problems affecting me getting any help is impossible for me to get better without being stressed by them firsthand,
Where do I start? No appointments available on System Online which they tell you to use, and none if you manage to phone, what do you do if you’re ill or worried about symptoms? When you ring it either takes forever to get through or they don’t answer the phone at all. I actually managed to book a phonecall a few weeks ago and no one rang. I wasn’t called for my Covid jab so had to book it myself. I realise about Covid but have been to Grimsby and Lincoln hospitals with no problem at all. One exception to all this is the new lady doctor who is brilliant, if you can get to see or talk to her!
Completely gone downhill in terms of management, receptionists and being able to get prescriptions. I'm due a medical review for prescriptions and my mum has tried to contact the surgery via ask my gp which is something they advise people to use to contact the doctors on and she's heard nothing, not very impressed at all. Also the other day tried to get booked in for a covid vaccine and somebody got back in touch to say they have completely run out of doses. I wouldn't recommend this surgery as they don't seem to be very organised!
Not very well organized. Meds not ready sometimes. When you feel Ill due to what you and the drs know is an ongoing problem and you ring for advice.... Oh its covid!!... thats the nurses opinion when I asked for a GP to ring me Not happy at all! The staff are very rude too. The receptionist sits a mile away so your business is heard by all and sundry. . Disgusting.. Wish I could change practices. There is one plus Dr mcory, she gets on with things and is the best Dr there.I was in quite a mood when I wrote this but since Dr venilla has arranged things to get moving for me which is very good of her.
They removed me from the practice - for what??? Basically asking for a second opinion! I criticised a doctor for totally getting a diagnosis 100% wrong, they said I was being abusive! I can quite clearly state, as I have written evidence of my comments, I was not abusive. I merely stated that Dr East clearly didn't have a clue what he was talking about, which he didn't or else he wouldnot have got my diagnosis 100% wrong, from that I receive a letter saying I was being abusive!?!?!? Go figure! OK, I have been scathing of this practice in the past, some reviews have been deleted for some reason. On the whole my experiences here have been awful, bad communocation of the surgery's behalf etc. but credit where credit is due! Dr McCrory is an absolute asset. She listens, advises and acts promptly. Communicates well and is courteous. Gold star for Dr McCrory!! Well 4 on this occasion - I have to hold one back for awful service in the past Best service I have had in years!!!!!!
