Had a fantastic time here, caravan was Platinum grade, spotless, arrived after long journey in the rain, there were teabags, coffee, milk and sugar in the kitchen. Shower gel and soap in bathroom along with toilet roll. We booked with Hoseasons through Hays travel, couldn't fault anything. Will definitely be returning. Enjoyed our first ever trip to Skegness.
The proximity to the beach & the pitch & put pub was the only thing going for this site unfortunately. The food was amazing & the site was within walking distance to the beach. There was plenty of entertainment, however, the bingo calling was far too loud, you couldn't hear the person next to you when dining at the furthest point from the bingo calling. Staff were friendly. On site shop had everything we needed.nnThis was our first & last time of coming to this site unfortunately. The toilet block there only seemed to be one was large enough to handle the amount of guests, however, despite going in there straight after they mopped the floors, there was still poop on most of the toilet seats. It was actually quite filthy. I have attached a photo of one of the toilets & it was the cleanest one! The pitches were very unlevel & the hook up points were one per four pitches, which meant that the points ended up being on the wrong side of the caravan for half of the pitches so before we could do anything we had to spend £77 getting extension cables & extension water hoses. Charge for dogs & awnings even though these are things that the site does not need to cover on insurance. Purely there to maximise profit as they certainly weren't used to keep up with the cleanliness of the site. Were far too packed in, too many pitches close together.
I was very worried about this park, we booked it then checked the reviews. It was very clean, the showers and toilets were excellent and I am fussy. We were in a motorhome and the site was very level. Electric is supplied on a card if you’ve booked with electric. £5.00 a day which was more than sufficient. There is a £20 refundable deposit for the barrier entry card and the same card gives you access to the toilets and showers. We walked down to the beach and into Skegness which was maybe 20 mins at a leisurely pace. We jumped on a bus to come back which stops right outside the park.
Im staying here for two nights in my van without pre booking. Nice pitch, clean toilets and showers. Shop on site. Staff in reception very professional, welcoming and friendly. A fair price for stay. Quiet although a lot of people about. Just had a great sleep which will set me up for the day ahead in Skegness. Thank you.
This site is excellent and situated in a good location close to amenities.nnSome of the information boards require updating as they are currently misleading, for example it advertises it servers a Sunday Roast, which it is actually only offered at one of their other locations.nnThe touring caravan pitches are spacious and well-maintained; however, my only concern is the narrowness of the road between the rows.nnThe toilet/shower facilities were satisfactory and maintained in a clean condition, nonetheless, having a shelf to place personal items like shower gel and shampoo would be a welcome addition.nnThe designated area for dog walking is satisfactory, however, I believe it does not warrant the £2.50 daily fee especially when compared to other campsites.
