I encountered unhelpful staff at the post office counter. Despite showing the postal worker my QR code, the label was not printed. When I returned with a printed return label, I noticed she was scanning QR codes, so I gave her the label. When I politely inquired why my QR code wasn't scanned initially, she ignored me. No apologise or reason why.
They told me today Saturday post office closes at 2pm I came 3pm but they are still open as a corner shop that’s annoying
Thought the post office was open til 5 as their site used to say this. Was rudely informed by the person at the front of the shop that it always closed at 2 on a Saturday noticed they finally changed this on Google as it used to say otherwise.nUsed to get parcels delivered here from Asos and Amazon but no longer do as they wanted a form filled in on collection everytime, which seemed really very unnecessary so get them delivered to the one on Ryefield instead now where they don't ask for a short form to be completed.
The Post Office closes on Saturday at 14.00, not 17.30 as shown on a photo or 17.00 as per the listing in Google. Please correct this. Maybe also add that you are open on a Sunday.
A nice helpful post office linked to the newsagents where they have a double counter which opens up to help speed up the processing when things get busy. nYou can pop in to just post your lovely items away and/ or grab a few essentials.
