Absolute sham of a council! Nothing but crooks and thief’s. They expect those out of work on UC due to I’ll health to still be able to pay almost £160 a month for council tax including debt repayments and when you call to discuss it you NEVER get through to anyone I assume because half the town are so angry with you their calling in Makes no sense on the repayments! Single mum 3 kids gets to pay £30 a month but those out of work due to mental health issues signed off by a doctor expected to pay more ? Go figures ! Then when they summon you to court they play the bully as well thinking everyone’s on their side. Just remember NE Lincs people can and WILL eventually stop paying you and then your stuffed! Stop waisting money on pavements and failed road works and buying freshney place and actually use the money to support your residents of the area you control. Never seen such a worse council in my life !
The lady I just spoke to in order to fix my council tax bill was one of the most rudest and unnecessarily abrupt people I have ever spoken to. She constantly spoke over me, didn’t give me an opportunity to get a word in, and just came across as a generally rude and disrespectful person. Every member of staff I have ever spoken to here doesn’t have an ounce of professionalism.
The recycling department rubbish not collected our recycling on time all year , and as it's now monthly collection , we'll imagine. Put complaints in , they show as closed , instantaneously on my online account stopped at stage 1 why. The domestic waste is collected every time , the recycling crews just can't be bothered giving their managers excuses, which they just accept. What are we supposed to do with our recycling? They just want us to fill our gardens with it ? It affects all our,street.
East Marsh Councillors are completely useless, not seen any of then in the area for months. Nothing gets done, there are antisocial dirt bikers riding around and around, there is also car racing, one of which is a blue BMW. Vars and 4x4s parked on footpaths and pedestrian plus blocking paths completely, crossing zigzags ect, nothing get done it's like the libdems have given up and no one is good enough for Steve Beasant. This town is dying and the teens, chavvs and dealers are ruining the once borough of great grimsby and antisocial behaviour is the biggest cause.
Contacted them regarding my mother in laws council tax and they repeatedly slammed the phone down on me .despicable treatment .they have got to be the worst council in the Uk
Absolute, pure filth taking advantage of the deceased and elderly, only in the UK would a family mourning there loved one, would get a hefty fine for there funeral going a few seconds over time. This is totally unacceptable, and has no place in any country! These council members should be ashamed of them selfs, and need to consider relinquishing there positions, as they are clearly more worried about there own wallets, then running the council! It definitely reinforces my opinion that the UK would definitely be on my list of places to visit!
Rang at 9.30 waited 1/2 then to be told 10th in the queue.Then rang at 1 o.clock same again . Terrible service .
NO WASTE BIN COLLECTION. No waste bin collection Wednesday 22nd May in the Heneage Road area. Phoned the council to ask why and was told there would be no collection. Apparently "there was a problem" but they didn't know what ? haha. Was told to keep putting bin out, i think these people think we have nothing better to do, but we need to find that MASSIVE council tax bill somehow by maybe working for living !! No announcements or information to a change of day for bin collection on their website either. I mean how hard is it for someone there, to get on a keyboard and change the information on their site, or maybe i should just ask Mystic Meg!! Whoever is in charge of household waste, WAKE UP!
Rubbish. For the third time in a row the recycling has been missed in my area. Meanwhile the wind blows rubbish down the street and fox's raid the tin cans at night spreading them around the street. It's astonishing really, every year they take more money and offer far worse service than the previous year.
We have just moved back am ashamed at the way the council have let the town go to rack & ruin. Not at all surprised people go to hull, Sheffield etc to do their shopping. All the new housing developments that are being built why isn't the town also being developed ?
