Best Haddock and chips I have had in a very long time. Bar none. Yes there is a short wait, but then the fish is cooked to order, therefore hot and fresh. The chips were absolutely spot on. Some people have said it can be expensive. Not so: medium Haddock was £4.00 and regular (large) chips £1.95. Small chips are £1.70. But the best bit was that it was actually Haddock. So many places pass off Pollock as Haddock, including a lot of the famous Whitby restaurants.

Had fish and chips from here easter Sunday.  First time in ages. 10/10. Lovely fresh fish and scraps to die for☺

This is the best fish and chip shop never tasted better if you ever in Scarborough give them try .

Tucked away around the back of Scarborough, North Bay Fisheries serves a wonderful haddock and chips. There's some seating outside, but the view of the main road isn't exactly picturesque. I visited during the lunchtime slot so all the food was freshly-fried and piping hot. The batter didn't hold too well to the fish, but it was so light and crispy that it got a pass on deliciousness alone. The chips were fluffy and went really well with the crunchy complimentary scraps.
