Beautiful village just over the border 8 miles from Berwick upon tweed. Cross the bridge over the river tweed from Scotland and you are  immediately in England and the county of Northumbria. Sat down at the banks of the river tweed for a picnic so gorgeous.walk around the village . Will explore more in November as we are down again in a cottage for a week with the dogs great walk from the door. Great place for a visit a 1hr 45 minute drive from my home in alloa.

Castle, two great pubs, baker, butcher etc. All top quality, very friendly and an amazingly beautiful location.
