From booking to arrival the communication from Justine at Norfolk Coastal Cottages was excellent. The property itself Dove Cottage was very well equipped, clean and cosy; a real home from home. Perfectly located to explore the area and with the benefit of several good restaurants and pubs in Wells Next the Sea itself. We have already booked a return visit.
We stayed at May's cottage just after COVID-19 restrictions were lifted on self-catering accommodation. The cottage was spotless and there was gel at the entrance of the house as well as lots of cleaning products and simple instructions to follow when leaving to help with hygiene. The cottage is well equipped, the kitchen has everything you need. The bathroom is spacious and recently renovated. Overall the cottage is pleasant and perfect for a family holiday. The children enjoyed the garden and the bunk beds, we enjoyed the fireplace in mid-July! I only wish the weather could have been better.
Well - we didn’t actually stay in the end! We booked Dove Cottage for a week in August 2020 whilst we were holidaying in Wells in summer 2019 - it just looked so amazing! Then about 3 weeks ago we acquired a puppy and needed a cottage that would welcome him on holiday with us. I contacted Justine about our situation and her customer service has been AMAZING! Absolutely first class. We cancelled our booking after luckily finding somewhere else with another company as Justine had nothing suitable available. She has replied to every email really promptly and quickly and has been so helpful and friendly in every communication. We will definitely be looking to Norfolk Costal Cottages for our holidays in the future. Thank you Justine!
We had a lovely stay in Well Cottage, Salthouse. The cottage was very comfortable and well appointed. The covid-19 cleaning protocols were detailed and clear. The local shop and pub were both very good and within a short walk of the cottage. We hope to return when it is cold enough to use the wood burning stove in the sitting room.
We couldn't recommend Norfolk Coastal Cottages more highly, and will return again and again to them for the service provided, and the quality of homes on the website. Justine is surely one of the loveliest and most most helpful people to deal with, and should have a special six star rating of her very own. Really, we have nothing but praise all round.
We have just returned from a week's stay in Plum Tree Cottage, Burnham Market. The cottage was beautiful, well equipped, spacious and spotless, one of the nicest holiday cottages we have stayed in for a long time. This was our first trip away since the advent of Covid-19 and it was so reassuring to see the steps that have been taken to ensure everybody's safety. As well as being a lovely place to stay it is also perfectly located for an easy stroll into the centre of Burnham Market itself only a few mins, and has a very handy fish and chip shop and chinese takeaway just round the corner. The whole booking process was smooth and easy, and we very much appreciated the welcoming bottle of wine on arrival. Thank you to all who made our break such a pleasure, we hope to return in the not too distant future.
Our Cottage was wonderful!Great location. The interior has been renovated to a high standard,with lovely interior furnishings. It was very well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. Very impressed with Norfolk Coastal Cottages,well organised in difficult times. Thank you for a great holiday.
The cottage was spotlessly clean. Communication about Covid really clear. It is like home everything you could think of was provided. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach and a fantastic pub with great food in the village. This is our second visit and will definitely be back.Rooms: 5/5
We stayed in Haran Bank Annexe in Wells Next The Sea. It was a very comfortable little bungalow just a 6 minute walk from the quayside with several dining pubs walking distance too. Well’s amazing beach was a 25 minute walk, or a 5 minute drive. The best of the North Norfolk coast is between Cromer and Hunstanton where all the villages and towns are beautiful, well served by independent shops and eateries and unspoilt by ugly development. Wells is right in the middle of that area. The beaches are amazing and the marshes full of wildlife. The booking process was easy and communication good. We got final details regarding access etc in good time before arrival. The property was freshly decorated, had a very comfortable bed and really well equipped. There were nice touches, such as packs containing shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, tea an espresso maker and biscuits and a bottle of wine.
We stayed in Mays Cottage in Blakeney. Great communication with Norfolk Coastal Cottages from start to finish, lovely cottage with good attention to detail on fixtures and furnishings. Lucky to have on-Street parking just outside the cottage - something that is tough to find in that part of Blakeney.
