Love the vibes here. Especially the lights, was bit dark but not gloomy. It was like another world when walking in, and the atmosphere was great. Had a wonderful night here for my partner’s birthday. Overall the food was nice, would recommend the scallops and the cocktails. Though it’s a bit pricey, since we only had a starter, a main, a side and a dessert each and some cocktails. But was really a nice place for special occasions! Didn’t disappoint us.
We came here to celebrate our anniversary and it did not disappoint! From the welcoming staff to the romantic atmosphere, we knew from the moment we set food in the venue it was going to be a wonderful experience. We went for three courses and I selected the lamb for my mains which was cooked to perfection succulent and tantalising flavours all round. As an aside, we were provided with some of the best bread we have ever tasted! We were placed in a very imitate booth which was fitting for the occasion and to round off our meal I went for the lemon curd dessert which came with olive oil icream serve with cake and it was delicious By the end of it all we were planning a follow-up visit. Needless to say my spouse was very impressed! The prices reflect the high quality of service and food so come ready to spend and enjoy. Highly recommended!
One of the best dinner ever We had the most of the dishes and they were all amazing and the deserts The service was perfect very professional warm and welcome at all times Great drinks also We really enjoy our night and we definitely recommend it
Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. The staff and the service are exactly what you would expect from an upmarket establishment such as this, and the decor is simply lux. Went there before attending the theatre and it is perfectly placed to have lunch or dinner at the neighbouring Opera house and theatres. Would certainly go again anytime and can recommend.
This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The friendliest staff in London and every corner is picturesque. The atrium of course visually stunning but the food is also delicious. My favorite is the shrimp sandwich. The rooms are super spacious and feel super luxurious. Check out the fun colorful hotel slippers and the tea service is lovely. While you're there definitely check out Common Decency, it's like a speakeasy and with a really fun story that the bartenders will share with you. I think the most important thing to note is that the location is more than ideal. You can basically walk to every important London attraction, and great shopping. I highly recommend this property and personally can't wait back to visit.
The space of the restaurant is lovely, though it lacks the energy/vibe of high-end bistros in similar settings. I think this is to do with the seating being in rows and the minimal lighting. The music was too loud and not very well selected. The food was quite good, though my pasta was far too creamy/salty and arrived lukewarm. Given how many servers were on hand, the service was lacking. We ordered drinks to start but didn’t receive them until after we finished appetisers- around 30 minutes wait. Just not good enough given we had to ask three times. Didn’t receive an apology and nothing was taken from the bill. The servers also kept changing, so we would always have someone different- quite odd. They all looked miserable and made no attempt to be nice or make small talk, even when paying the bill. Felt fairly robotic. It’s a very tough job, I think perhaps it’s just what management have decided is the tone for the restaurant. Given the high prices, one expects not to encounter such issues.
Our stay at the Nomad was absolutely fantastic! The food was incredible, the room was extremely comfortable, but I must say that the service was the best part of it all. All of the staff were so helpful and so nice, it felt so special and lovely. If I could give it more stars, I would! Highly recommend for anyone wanting to have a special holiday in the center of London and all the great theatres are just down the road and the Opera House is literally across the street! It was amazing.
Nomad is a great spot for a drink or lunch. It's pricey but beautiful. Everything looks perfect and the finish around the hotel is just so decadent. We had drinks in the library but they also have a couple of cocktail bars attached. There are a few private and semi private dining spaces. A beautiful ballroom style space with incredible dark cloudy walls looks perfect for adding atmosphere to larger dinner!
What a great find in this city.!!!! Love this hotel for Christmas lunch The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful.!! The hotel was such a cute hotel and the layout was fantastic with lots of cool furnishings and fittings which really added to the vibe.!! The items I had were amazing and tasty. I would recommend this place to anyone coming to the city and is a must! Thank you for being so inviting I will be back.!!! Cheers
I stayed here last mont for a few days for work. The location is excellent in the opposite the royal opera House, close to the tube, multiple restaurants, pubs and shops The staff were very helpful and friendly and elevated the experience of my stay. The atrium of the hotel is visually impressive particularly during the evening. The rooms/beds were very comfortable. I had a good night's sleep and there was not too much street noise. The bathroom was tastefully decorated, and the showers were excellent. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here.
