Noble House

Stumbled across this while on holiday in the area. What a little gem! Lovely food and service, it was the nicest duck we have ever eaten. Highly recommended, great prices. The food art was an extra special unexpected treat. See you next year!

Poor gasranomic experience . We ordered to collect. On arrival at alloted time we still had to wait a further 15 mins even though takeaway was empty. The takeaway/shop looks like it is a bit tired and grubby with dirty flyers, counter and menus and peeling menus on covid screens. Food was all luke warm/ cold and not as fresh as we were expecting due to the extra wait. The chow mein was really overcooked dry and rubbery, most unappealing. The crispy chilly beef was claggy and soft again not at all satisfactory. We spent over £40 and expected hot fresh food. Sadly we would not be returning here, which is sad as we like to support local businesses when we can. Such a shame as resturant currently closed due to fire was always really good.

Nice Chinese Restaurant which has a take away attached. Presentation of food was great and staff very attentive.

Decent food, usually decent wait times sometimes if very busy you can wait quite a while. Consistency not the best as sometimes the same dish you normally order is different than the last time I guess it depends which person is preparing it?. Portion size excellent. Overall good rating and will continue to use.

A truly shocking meal Rice was charcoal grey almost black don’t quite know what they had done to it but was inedible. Cold hard dry chicken balls and dry spare ribs that was like eating shards of glass absolutely disgusting ended up in the bin, on top of all that it arrived late by a delivery driver that had no idea of what day it was or where he was let alone what he was delivering. Needless to say I most definitely won’t be ordering from here again terrible experience I recommend anyone thinking of ordering from here to reconsider and avoid at all costs.

Not good, when i called to order was told to call back, so just went it to order, the lady was moody and rude.. The actual takeaway area was cold and unwelcoming, even the fish in the tank looked depressed. As for the food, well tasteless and overcooked, spring rolls were so burned with black charing and where pretty much hollow. Compared to other places in area their prices are pretty high so would expect quality, not here unfortunately and will not be back

I can honestly say the food from here was awful. Refried chips that were very greasy. We found a prawn in our chicken chop suey. Good job no one in the family is allergic to sea food. It tasted awful. The prawn balls were awful too. Look liked they had been refried. The batter was rock hard. A truly awful meal. I do not recommend Nobel House. There are better Chinese takeaways out there.

First things first, this place does serve 5-star quality food. My low review is due to the fact that I pre-ordered many hours in advance for 5:15, they took the money and everything, and then at exactly 5:15, the time it was supposed to be delivered, they instead sent me an email saying that it was cancelled due to them being very busy and unable to fufil my order or something along those lines. Now fair enough if that's true, but surely the could have at least given me at least a bit more notice in advance so I could prepare some other food out. A family member called up to complain and at first I thought they were being nice about everything and said they'd send someone around with the food I had already been charged for. About 10 minutes after this, I get a call back from them and they're basically trying to charge me a second time. At that point, I just hung up and went to the local chinese which is a 5 minute walk from my house. It wasn't quite as nice as the food at Noble House, but at least they never screw me over on the customer service factor. Just be aware that if you order online, it doesn't guarentee you're getting your food.

Thought we would try Noble House for a change and so happy we did. The food quality was great and was delivered hot. We had one item missing so we called the restaurant. They were great and delivered the missing item straight away along with a few drinks to apologise. Best customer service I’ve seen in a long time.

+ Really tasty food - some of the best Chinese cuisine I’ve had. + Very sustainable packaging my takeaway standards - easy to recycle, prawn cracker in paper bag instead of polythene. + Great opening hours on Thursday - was open later than other Chinese takeaways.
