Visited today with family and we had the festive menu, absolutely beautiful. The table was festively dressed the soup was the best I have tasted definitely homemade, prawn cocktail was lovely and also the pate. We all had turkey with trimmings, generous slices of fresh turkey, vegetables were fresh & not frozen and desserts were amazing. Big hands up to the chef and staff. That good we are going again for festive menu
a big disappointment for how much the christmas dinner cost. starter was good .main meal a big 0 , desert was nice , shame the staff didn't smile as for the uniform ...get a name on it

The pub is under new management, and Michelle the new manager has worked her socks off to bring it back up, the pub is so clean and welcoming again , The food is fantastic , the beer is back and Michelle and her staff are great, it’s fab to see my local back to its former glory. I look forward to the weekend again to go to my local and be greeted by such a wonderful manager and her staff .
This place is amazing for food and decoration. My grandad comes all the time and he loves it.
This lovely local is back, it went absolutely down the pan with previous management but the new management in place have turned it back to its former glory. Food beautiful, drinks like nectar and staff attentive. Well done. We will be back enjoying our local following our walk out in December 2021. Clare and Lou.
