Pretty standard Witherspoon, except for the beet garden and covered smoking area at the back, and some of the staff that are pretty amazing such as one of the managers that's been there 26 years and the 'Try our Lager' wee model ; the locals are all pretty friendly and the place runs like a well oiled engine.
The food, fish and chips, was solid and tasty if nothing extraordinary. The problem is they don't supply night vision goggles! The bar is light up like an airport at night while the seating area is as gloomy as Eeyore with tooth ache. Not bad but not brilliant.
Another visit, another nice pint.. good prices and a nice clean wetherspoons with good staff. Well worth popping in.
Come here regularly really enjoy the breakfasts and staff are very friendly and helpful

The drinks and food were gd but the table service was poor we waited 30 mins for drinks after we ordered them
Have come in for a cheeky breakfast after leaving the motor at JB Autos. Service with a smile, clean and tidy, made welcome on arrival, ordering and once the meal had been served. Good breakfast, with tasty all cooked items, yokes on eggs just right :. Will use again when coming back.
