Cod and chips turned out to be an almost empty hollow batter husk and chips, I must say that I was very disappointed with the offering. hardly any fish content to talk about and the batter was greasy. I gave them a try but sadly they let me down and have lost any future custom from me.

Really nice, cooked fresh and very welcoming. Reasonably priced no more expensive than anywhere else. We had a large cod and chips small cod and sausage in batter with chips and my daughter gave a big thumbs up to the sausage in batter. The batter was crisp and the large cod was big enough for 2 adults to share. Will definitely be back.
First time of visiting this fish and chip shop... seems slightly on the expensive side, though they may just be trying to keep up with the cost of living.... seemed quite eager to try and sell a carrier bag.. maybe there’s a hidden profit in up selling carrier bags other than the government green tax.... the fish and chips were ok, but slightly too greasy for my liking.... I suppose it doesn’t help having 2 other fish and chip shops within 100yds of each other.....worth a visit... it is what it is...just a quick edit, another reviewer has also stated this as well.. I’ve visited here a few times now, but it seems to me the frying oil isn’t changed often enough, sometimes you can smell it in the street and taste it in the food…. Sorry I won’t be returning nor would I recommend
Normally quite good, but today it was not nice at all. The portions were small, which was probably a blessing in disguise, as chips and and batter were soggy and all we could taste was stale, old, disgusting oil. Really disappointed with this. They need to start having more consistency in their food. Should have asked for our money back.
