Got to be the worst helicopter company evernWe had flights cancelled,as they was saying could not get the hanger doors open, what are they running here, flights always delayed never on time allways pushing flights later when should be in morning I’m missing my flight home from Aberdeen costing me,they should be fine for delayeds disgraceful company
Absolute disgrace of an airline and a disgrace to the O&G industry. Flights delayed and cancelled for fun with multiple lies made up as excuses. Countless lads stuck offshore because they clearly don’t have the resources to fulfil all of their contracts. Weather could be spot on offshore and in Aberdeen, CHC & Bristow have choppers up in the air, but NHV will tell you a flights delayed due to triggered lightning… then cancel at 3pm due to ‘pilot hours’. Disgusting and absolutely no care for the wellbeing of offshore workers. Avoid NHV at all costs if possible.
Hands down the worst heliport in Aberdeen. Been offshore for two weeks and every flight has been delayed for one reason or another. Due home today, and again, our flight is delayed. Don't think I've had one flight with this lot in the last 6 months that's actually been on time. Must be incredibly cheap...I honestly can't see any other reason why operators continue to use them.nnEdit: One year on from my previous review - have they improved at all? Absolutely not. If anything, they've got worse.nnEdit: And so the saga continues. Flights delayed for two days now due to weather. Nothing anyone can do about this, however you'd think they'd be looking to clear the backlog of flights ASAP? Nope, not NHV. All of yesterday's flights moved to tomorrow, and first flight of the day today is 9AM. So we've now gone from a 10:30am lift on Thursday, to a 12:30pm lift yesterday, to a 6pm lift today which, let's be honest, isn't happening. Every other heliport in Aberdeen have a full flying program, starting at 7am. Absolutely no communication to ourselves offshore either. Nothing to inform us on Wednesday that Thursday's flights had been moved to Friday, and nothing yesterday to tell us our flights had even been cancelled. Add to all that the guys onshore still didn't have a revised check-in time for today at 7:30pm last night, despite the flight being cancelled at midday.
Not the easiest of places to find if no navigational aids, Google or arriving by taxi can. Nice and easy check in process with a great canteen and lounge area on the 1st floor which also has a lift.
