"Newsome Academy, part of Impact Education Multi Academy Trust is an 11 to 16 comprehensive school situated in the scenic countryside in south Huddersfield. We have around 700 pupils on roll and approximately 100 amazing teaching and support staff. We are very unique in the fact that we also have two specialist provisions : Hearing Impaired and Physically Impaired. These provisions allow students to be in mainstream lessons which enriches our educational offer beyond belief. In addition to our provisions, we benefit from our small size and use this to our full advantage as everyone is an individual that is known and cared for and not a number!"
