Moor End Academy is an academy school located in Crosland Moor, Huddersfield in England.HistoryThe school opened in 1972 and was known as Moor End High School. The name was changed in 1999 to Moor End Technology College when it became a Technology College as part of the specialist schools programme. In September 2011 the school gained academy status and became known as Moor End Academy.OrganisationThe Academy's house system includes houses named after historical figures, including Gertrude B. The company you use EDU lettings to manage your venue for events cancelled a planned event 5 days before the event was to take place without any reasons.nnEither the school or EDU lettings are racists and have cancelled the event only because it's in support to raise funds for humanitarian causes in palestine!nnAll other bookings at the school have not been cancelled!nnShocking!nnMoorend school & EDU lettings both are racist.. No explanation given on why the venue has cancelled!
High academics and Mr Rafik has really turned a new page for the school. The only problem is the new uniform, many parents I have Heard talking about how ‘’the grey pants don’t match with such a dark colour ‘’or ‘’ they like it but the smallest size is not small enough ‘’ I hear this mostly from the parents of the new year 7’s but even from the other parents . I would like to know if we could do something about this so that everyone will be happy about the schools decision. To do this we could make smaller sizes available for other kids so we all look smart.
Excellent school my daughter has come out with excellent mock results, great teachers, new headmaster Mr rafik doing a good job with the school- gets rid of any bad student or disruptive students. Definitely would recommend!!!
