Worst doctor I have ever been to, made me wait four months to sign a form ( with weekly calling) only to be told it was sent, then it got lost (they never sent it) They told me get another and they will sign right away, now they have been two weeks and finally said they won't sign it. Gave me two lots of tablets that could harm/kill my baby, knowing that I breastfeed, and told me it was safe. Receptionist act like I am being out of order for asking for help. Final straw when they prescribed me a tablet which is no longer available, and told me to buy over the counter instead of prescribing another brand. Will be leaving after only 3 months of being there. They think everything is impossible to do, negative attitude. Make you wait for simple jobs, and never stick to what they say they will do. Worst doctor I have ever had. Only plus side I had was the nurse was very good at taking blood.

THE DOCTORS AND NURSES at the Newquay Health Centre have shown themselves to be ABSOLUTELY DEDICATED to my personal health and well being !! They could not be kinder, nor more capable. nor more professionally ''up to the job''. I have lived in Newquay for over 38 years. Admittedly, in that time, I've only been in need of medical help, perhaps once every 3 or 4 years. An ear ache was the worst thing in the whole of those 38 years !!. Oh, and one bout of Bronchitis about 20 years ago. I believe that for the most part, one's good health, is in ONE'S OWN HANDS... HOWEVER, on those rare occasions, when I needed something which only a doctor or nurse could provide, I have HAPPILY placed myself in their most capable hands. The Nursing team is made up of a group of ''WONDER WOMEN'' !!! Jane Meachem in particular !! each nurse maintains an ASTONISHINGLY CHEERFUL, tender and patient demeanor (I'm a dreadful coward with pain, and am probably not alone !!). And they maintain this, in the face of a stream of human beings, in states of extreme trauma from really serious, sometimes life threatening medical problems, right down to my EAR ACHE!! My mother was a nurse and I am proud and happy to say that as far as I can see, the high standards of professional care that she exemplified, have been equally met by the Nurses in 2015 !! It has not changed ON WHIT from what it was in my mother's day !! YOU DON'T CHOOSE A CAREER IN NURSING... IT chooses YOU !! and it AIN'T for the ££ BIG BUCKS ££ !! For these EXTRAORDINARY WOMEN, as it was for my mother, it isn't a just a JOB.. it is a CALLING !!! Although I seldom see them from one year to the next, (except at Christmas, to bring them a special Christmas card !!) when I DO, it is with a heart full of gratitude, that I now have the great good fortune to LIVE in a CIVILIZED COUNTRY !! where medical help is available to everyone, NO MATTER WHAT YOUR BANK BALANCE IS !!! I was born in San Francisco, California, USA - shall SAY NO MORE, about the USA's attitude to a proper Universal Health Care Service !!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrr... May I make one closing remark, and it is well and truly, from the heart... GOD BLESS THE NHS and ALL WHO SAIL IN HER !! With profound gratitude and loving thanks To ALL THE DOCTORS AND NURSES At the Newquay Health Center Michelle Williams ps. The love of my life, my husband Jeff, completely agrees, albeit in slightly less flowery terms !!
