Telephone triage for appointments means short waiting times for contact with doctor. I really wonder why other practices do not do the same.

Mrs went to see the physio today as she hurt her back two weeks ago and hasn’t been able to walk properly, for the physio just to hand out a leaflet and tell her to take some pain meds and crack on basically and not tell her how she could prevent this from happening or help maybe give an idea of what the problem with her back could be eg slipped disc, pinched nerve etc , bit of a piss poor effort I think.
Dr Fern and her whole surgery team are absolutely fantastic. Everyone is always friendly and polite. So grateful to be at a GP practice where you can actually get an appointment. She always listens to your concerns and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you so much.
I’m on holiday and needed an appointment to see a doctor or nurse for an ear infection but the receptionist told my wife I couldn’t have an appointment and to phone 111or speak to my own GP who would then triage me and then direct me to a surgery that could help I did all the above and after speaking to one of my own doctors I ended up at Newquay minor injuries Hospital for treatment. What an absolute waste of NHS time having to speak to someone on 111 my own GP the hospital when you could have sorted out a minor problem. T Lund

Was in this evening with my son who needed a blood test. Karen, the nurse was absolutely great. Karen made my son feel at ease from the moment she called him into the room. A lovely lady, doing a fantastic job. Thank you.
Useless doctors. I having really bad cough over 6 weeks im not a smoker and she sent me home that im absolutely alright, and she didnt even bothered to smear my throat to check if i have any infection which i probably spreading over all town since i am a housekeeper. well done. Edit: for last 5 years all doctors urging me to solve my high blood pressure that its too dangerous regularly in a calm over 140/100 so when i started solving it, they dont care, they said me change a lifestyle- uh how? Im not a smoker, im physically active person housekeeper, not an alcohol drinker, and we have this disease in a family for generations when both nan and her mum died on a stroke. Doctors refusing to give me any medication , saying im too young 32 even when i said my family been using them since their 20s. They ignoring it and probably waiting for me to get a stroke too. Absolutely shocked by their attitude. the most useless doctors i ever seen. EDIT: ANOTHER 2 YEARS LATER , MY BP IS DAILY 140/110 AND THEY KEEP SAYING IT IS NORMAL!!!!!!!! all other doctors are shocked always when I say that my GP is fine with my results and i should apparently report him for negligence and that he should get his licence revoked, cause he is gambling with people's health
Very happy with the service I get and my doctor is so lovely as the rest of the staff there.
