As beginners to the world of sub-aqua we found that the Newhaven Dive Centre was the friendliest, most professional and knowledgeable establishment we could ever have hoped for. Glenn Hawkins and his team welcomed us and answered all our questions: Glenn personally made sure that we were equipped to suit our needs. There was no pressure to buy and he enabled us to try equipment before making our purchases on the understanding that if it did not suit our needs we could return it - a deal that exists to this day. Glenn Hawkins has a fund of fabulous diving tales, understands the "big cheesy grin" and makes a great cup of tea. We also like Misty the dog. We shall always return to Newhaven Dive Centre, even though we now live on a Scottish island 500 miles distant. Brian and Amanda

Very knowledgeable. Very friendly offers a wide range of courses and items. Sells everything. Highly recommend.

Newhaven Scuba Center. A friendly PADI 5 star centre, offering a good range of products and services for new and experienced divers. Including try dives and training to all levels within the PADI system. A full range of scuba diving equipment is available, for sale or rental and they operate regular dive trips from the shop, on their own 8 metre RIB, throughout the year. Air fills and Nitrox up to 300 bar.

Sorry I haven't been scuba diving with anyone. No idea how you have my name and number. Perhaps you could let me know re: privacy rights and whether I should take precautions against it happening again . Awaiting your reply with interest.

As the Grandmother of an aspiring diver now aged 12 who has been dabbling since she was 8 (Bubble makers pool dives etc,), I have never meet such a bunch of professional of more helpful and patient people ever Thank you so much to Glen and his team, who are mainly volunteers and not even paid to be nice to children! Divers just like to spread the love of the sport,
