Grandstand access was good with plenty of amenities. Had good fun walking between the parade rings, to the bookies to place a bet, and then to the rail to watch the horses charge past. Parking was easy and free and with the digital tickets access at the main gate was easy too. Food and drink is a bit pricey but that is the same at many sport events now.
Amazing event! Betting on horses or not. Ministry of sound after the races was nice. A shame that everything has to finish at 7pm. I was just starting to feel the vibes.
One of the nicest race courses in the uk! Great views over the course and can watch the horses in the winners enclosure. Perfect family day out
Brilliant race course, the gentleman driving the shuttle buggy was absolutely fantastic. Picked us up after we parked our car and gave us his phone number to pick us up after racing. His name,Colin
Good day out. Plus music after the races. Very hot weather tho. Not much shaded areas.
Attended the Slough air cooled swap meet at Newbury, but from what I saw what of the venue its clean, spacious the staff were brilliant and really helpful parking was well thought out and more than enough space, a genuinely nice place to be, infact I'm kind of disappointed i have no interest in horse racing otherwise I go back more often.
Great days racing very well looked after in the Owners Club. Excellent well presented Meal All staff worked extremely hard to ensure that all guests had a good enjoyable and safe experience. As with most racecourses you can never account for the small brains who seem to find it difficult to consume alcohol and yet remain dignified in behaviour and behave appropriately.
Great day but rather put off when arrive in the premier enclosure bar and eating area. The MUSIC WAS FAR TOO LOUD and inappropriate All very clean and staff friendly Not many punters apart from uni kids at a rave in the enclosure next door Would go again
We went to the Christmas Fair. Very disappointed as it was virtually all closed. The Christmas tree maze was open and may have been good, but at £5pp too expensive. If the prices were dropped may be more people would have gone, it certainly has great potential.
Had an excellent lunch in the Owners and Trainers Bar having been ferried from the car park in a buggy. Buffet with plenty of choice charming helpful staff and an excellent start to the day.
