We’ve found ourselves a beautiful home here on the Market Place and we’re proud to be serving delicious food straight from the kitchen and crafted drinks poured at the bar every day of the week. Wood fired pizzas, Josper cooked steaks, classic cocktails, fine wine and world beers - that’s what we’re all about!

Food was very good. Staff were very helpful,  pleasant and knowledgeable.  Restaurant was laid out safely and all staff practiced good covid precautions.  Our room- Zephyr was really lovely and quirky.

Food was OK. My burger was fine but my mum felt hers was undercooked which really let it down. Rest of the food was great. Staff were nice and was good decor and design.

Really positive experience. Particularly with the new option to order and pay directly from the table! This is great and works well regardless of the current covid situation. The staff are friendly, the food is tasty and the cocktails spot on!

Very much enjoyed their variation of Fish-n-Chips – good portion, tasty. Whiskey Sour had a chance but they make it with lime which wasn't that great but maybe someone likes it

Steak night is the best! Burgers are pretty damn good too.

Meal very nice, could of done to be warmer, but very tasty, staff friendly.

Away for work? Like food? Absolutely wonderful pub with a brilliant menu, portion sizes are perfect. 1 beer + a main + dessert + coffee is around £25 mark so sits well with expenses!

The best place in Newbury for a roast and now offering takeaway. Both the meat and veggie options are incredible
