I started going to NewLife Gym in Aug 2023 and it was the BEST decision. I was looking for a womans boxing / kickboxing class with a female instructor and couldn't find anything anywhere until I saw this gym on Instagram and loved what I saw! They run a womans kickboxing class on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings for all levels which was beginner friendly so I took the plunge and went one Saturday morning and absolutely loved it! The lovely ladies Jill and Niamh were so bubbly and friendly it made me feel so at ease and I have been going ever since. They do a wide range of classes from kids classes to men's MMA, boxing, kickboxing, PT sessions and more. This gym is completely different to any other boxing gyms I've been to as they utilise every minute of the class to show techniques and combos instead of 60 minutes of burpees! 11/10 would highly recommend coming along and giving any class a go as all the coaches are amazing and I'm so glad I found NewLife Gym

Amazing gym with the best staff! Jill, Niamh and all the team at New Life are fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The ladies classes provide a comfortable space to train with likeminded women and the mixed classes provide a chance to further train with a wider range of abilities. Have trained here for a few years and don’t have a single bad word to say - definitely recommend!!

Started the women’s kickboxing classes this month as a complete beginner. Absolutely loving the welcome and  positive energy at New Life Gym.  Jill & Niamh’s brilliant teaching with clear instruction on technique - to use a l l our strength & power  and not hold back or apologise  is so inspiring! There’s real care for everyone, whether they’re rocking up for first session or attending for years.

Incredibly welcoming and great facilities.  UPDATE: The reason I continue to train here was demonstrated last night when the head coach successfully de-escalated 2 different scenarios of people harassing gym members and staff without getting physical. For a man who teaches combat, his care for others and clear headed approach to conflict outside of sport makes him an incredible role model.

Started training here start of 2022 and learned more about technique of mma/muay thai than I ever have anywhere else I've trained. They have a womens programme which is AMAZING. Also, the coaches genuinely care about your mental health as well as your physical health - something I feel is often quite overlooked in this sport. Great gym all round.

New Life Gym is a game-changer for me. It’s a community of amazing people, the best trainers and it’s given me confidence, health, fitness and helped develop a great mindset. I started with one class a week and now I do four! Boxing is so much more about personal development as a whole. I can’t recommend enough.

NewLife gym is an amazing place. Everyone is made to feel welcome, all egos are left at the door and all standards learn together in workouts that are confidence building, clearly taught and frequently knackering! The level of tuition is really high but never patronising. Expect to workout along side the gym's fight team "Resurgence" who are amazing and give help to struggling beginners and intermediate fighters. I've been coming for a year and have loved every class. I was an absolute beginner who had never even watched, let alone been in, a fight! I'm left hooked , have lost over 3 stone and have gained confidence thanks to the entire gym and get annoyed when I miss a class!! It's amazing value. Don't think twice, come and give it a go, you never know what'll happen!

Been part of this family from 2012. I started when I was 13 years old and have never left. I don’t see a future where I leave this place either. Amazing high level training in all aspects of MMA, and if you’re reading this in 2027 I’m in the UFC now.

Outstanding. The measures taken and facility upgrade to ensure no outbreaks of COVID-19 occur is top level.  Both a professional and personal experience with coaches who value your safety, mental health and martial arts journey.  Leaders in this new era of training.
