Lived in the area a while back and this was one of my favourite pubs so thought would pop in the other day for a early evening drink. What a dive it's turned into. You can't move for TV screens blaring out sport that nobody is watching. The beer garden looked like a bomb had hit it with more screens and even louder commentary for the benefit of nobody. What a shame, won't go back.
Its decent, usually pretty quiet when I go. Good clear TV screens for all the sports and footy. Reasonably priced, good deals on bottles. Just sort of lacks a bit of an atmosphere with people coming in an out for a quick one. Maybe I don’t go there on the best evenings dog friendly, pleasant staff always really welcoming.
Nice and friendly staff, sports bar. I was there at lunchtime so it was quiet.Service: 4/5
The people are very very 2 faced when I went in they was sniggering and laughing and the drink prices are out RAGES. Not going backService: 1/5
Absolutely fab! Great staff, great atmosphere and fab drinks menu...you'll have to go in about 2 and fall weeks due to refurbishment and from what's been said, the pub will be totally upgraded and made even better! Me and Zoe looking forward to going back in again. I would highly recommend this pub to everyone who' loveca great atmosphere and ambience!!
Good pub, with some good beer options. The staff have always been friendly and professional, but also able to have a joke with the customers. Though I've not eaten here yet, I am assured by those that have that the food is very good. The pub has some decent bands and duos on at the weekends, which I like to see from a pub.
Good atmosphere friendly barstaff but the big problem for me was there was not any cask ale on, having to pay nearly £4 for tastless lager was so disappointing, I will go back when the cask ale is back on and will review again after
Great place, great staff..landlord very cheerful and accommodating. Will visit again.Service: 5/5
Friendly traditional pub with beer garden at the back, pool table and TVs inside. Food is standard pub grub but not bad for the price Thornhill down the road has the best pub food in Calverley, New Inn is better than Calverley Arms for food however. Dog friendly.
Really good food and atmosphere in here. Large hidden beer garden at rear I would recommend this pub to anyone. Staff are really friendly.
