We have passed this restaurant so often and have never gone in because it doesn't look too great from the outside. True enough whilst the inside of the restaurant is very traditional some would say dated there is plenty of room and it is clean and tidy. Staff were efficient and on the ball. But, the real gem here was the food, it was fabulous!! Will definitely definitely go again.

The food was excellent,as was the service, we dined early so the restaurant was almost empty and soft background music was playing which added to the enjoyment of our dining experience. The only downside was we ordered a bottle of Chardonay at £15.75 and when it arrived it was a brand that we often buy at our local supermarket at a cost of £5.75 . When I payed our bill, I said I thought the £10.000 mark up on the wine was excessive, but the response was. Oh was it. Due to the overall experience we will dine there again the food is definitely to be recommended  along with the extensive menu. However we will not be ordering wine. Such a shame that the evening was spoiled by an extremely over priced bottle of wine.

Literally just scammed me out of my money they blame deliveroo tell you to call them deliveroo say call the restaurant. Small time mentality to lose a potential long term customer for £16 just sums them up. Driver calls says he's gone to a previous address even though I literally just updated it on the app. Then says he will come to new address which is only 10 minutes round the corner. Then has me waiting outside calls 15 minutes later to say he won't come that far. Then they say they'll come but they'll charge me an additional fee? This is now 1:30 hours later why would I pay more and why would I still want that same now cold not fresh food. I cannot comment on the food as I have not received it yet they've stolen my money. SCAM RESTAURANT.

Outside the restaurant there was a huge banner stating “Every Sunday 3 Courses Meal £11.95 only - any starter, any main & any rice or Nan bread” with no small print or terms and conditions regarding the deal. So we went in under the pretence of receiving that offer. We ordered two starters, two mains, 1 rice and 1 bread. When the bill came we were overcharged and not billed as per the offer. We were told that we hadn’t asked for the other when we ordered, but that they would adjust the bill as a ‘gesture of goodwill’. When the new bill came the offer was priced at £13.95 per 3 courses, not £11.95 as clearly advertised outside. They said that £11.95 was the old price. This is flagrantly illegal, contravening Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 amongst other legislation, yet, when we disagreed with the bill, we were treated with absolute contempt. After uncomfortably and embarrassingly having to resort to threatening to leave the premises and allow the matter to be settled in court, since it had become a civil matter, they begrudgingly accepted and corrected the price. Obviously it was only a few pounds, but the business showed itself to be dishonest, ignorant to the law, and lacking respect for its customers, and rewarding such behaviour didn’t seem right. It’s a shame, because before the bill came, we were talking about coming back another time. A greedy, illegal, and unintelligent business approach has cost them returning customers who live in the neighbourhood and would have otherwise recommended it to friends. Ordered this as a takeaway. Took over two hours to come on a Sunday. The food was awful - by far the worst Indian takeaway we have ever ordered. Would not normally leave a review like this, but it was bad. I ordered prawn balti, obviously it was cold because of how long it took, and the sauce was sickly sweet, like a desert, did not taste right. My partner ordered the chef special tandoori mixed buhna, and it was dry bland meat mushed together like dog food. One to avoid.

We've had takeaway a couple of times now and both times have been really good!  The chicken tikka was really tasty and the pieces of tikka were huge and had been cooked perfectly! The chicken pakoras were also very good!  I decided to try the Chicken Panshi and it was absolutely amazing, I'll be asking for it extra spicy next time but the flavours were so good!  All the sides were very good and I will definitely order again or come in for a meal.  10/10

Tuck the delivery driver over 20 minutes to find my address and was walking the streets with my bag of food when it finally arrived it's was freezing I rang the restaurant and explained but he was very rude, wouldn't give us a refund or fresh food after warming the food it very bland had no flavor or spice!!! Potatos wasn't cooked properly, lamb was tuf, poppadom was soft  Definitely wouldn't recommend

Ordered 3 types of curry 3 different heats so we could try something new. Curries were all put in different containers but were all actually the exact same & zero spice in any. Very small portions of rice, chips & curry I would say around half the size of a takeaway container & twice the price! We were the only 3 in the restaurant & we just felt like we were in the way. Shocking atmosphere & so over priced for to be honest quite poor food. What you see in the picture cost £60! I recommended it as it was an old favourite but wont be going again

Ordered take away, the delivery driver was very polite. The food was  lovely, and we received decent portions. This is the second takeaway we've had, and we will order again. Thanks guys. Food: 5/5

Ordered for delivery, was delivered before the time stated on Deliveroo. The delivery driver was really friendly when he was handing our food over.  The food we had was amazing, really flavourful. Both me and my husband aren't too fond of a huge amount of spice and the food we both ordered was just the correct amount of spice for us.  We will definitely be ordering again, this is one of the best curries we have had for a long time.
