Hubby has been eating in the New Gulshan since the 80s and the food has never ceased to impress. The quality of the ingredients is always top and in his opinion has always been the best curry house in St Albans for the last 30 years. Long may she reign.
This place has excellent service and delicious meals. One of the best place in the city. The drinks and food arrived rapidly and the prices were fair. Will definitely recommend this spot.

Went back for the first time in ages. Same great food, a superb "traditional English" Indian restaurant. Great prices too.
Glad to see this restaurant has re opened for take away business. I hope it won't be much longer before lockdown restrictions ease again and we can dine in once more In my opinion the best Indian restaurant in St Albans. Dined there in the 70s and over 40 years later still cannot fault it.
This is surely one of the most pleasant place to eat in the neighborhood. Always when I come to this place I am exceedingly pleased. They preserve their high standard service and the topmost level of food they serve. You can never go wrong with this place. Highly recommended.
I was disappointed last night, the food took well over an hour to arrive, and when it did it wasnt very good. The service was slow I think there was only one guy serving so it wasnt his fault. Always used to be my favourite Indian restaurant but won't be going back again.
