I'm reviewing based on several orders. We tend to order the same dishes and they are consistently good. Delivery always early or on time. Food hot. Friends who order with us also have positive feedback on their dishes. Thank you!

Decent food at decent price. Unfortunately i m  not ordering as much due to wanting cash on delivery these days people don't readily have cash  and not accepting card for phone payment and being told to order online. This is impossible as app states try dont deliver to my address.Food: 4/5

Placed an order online for collection and added what we usually have. A minute later New Diamond phoned and said they dont do the dishes requested.  Explained to the lady on the phone this is what we have ordered at least 20 times before.  "No. We dont do it."  Ive asked for a refund instead. 5 mins later I get another call  "Cant refund need to request it through the website"  Where on the website?  Same evening went to the shop and asked for a refund to be processed directly onto my card.  "Nope cant do. Need to email new diamond and request it there"  Went home. Email sent. Next day another phone call "please come into the shop we will refund"  Jokers. Waste of fuel and time. Not even an apology. Just ignorance.  Wont order again.

Used to go here years ago and decided to give my old haunt a try. Delivered early, piping hot and I've really missed the extra spicy curry - best ever! Absolutely delicious!

Chicken satay was amazing! Huge curry fan and this is my go to place they added lots of extra pineapple and mushroom to my chicken satay skewers was amazing 10/10

November 26 2022. Twice visited in last month. Somethings changed, new kitchen Staff or inferior ingredients. Recent chicken dish tough meat. Sorry always liked but a new search is on, what a pity.

Disgrace of a place doesnt even deserve 1 star for this. Placed an order and got told delivery would be an hour which was fine at the time. After waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes phoned to see how much longer it would be, to be told its not even been made yet. wont be ordering from here again!

Not every dish is good. Some like the char siu fried rice or the deep fried won ton without the sauce or the chrispy fried beef is good. Others dishes like the spicy fried chicken too much flour coating on the chicken, the egg fried riceside dish has hardly any egg in it or the wontonwithout the noodles soup is extremely salty. Its a shame that the prices don't  match the food in taste. The chefs don't  really put much though or consideration on actually making the food tasty without adding too much salt or soy sauce as these condiments in excessive is really bad for your health.  The customer service  by my experience  is lovely.

Never have an issue with New Diamond. Staff are always pleasant and helpful, even when they're under pressure. The wait for home delivery is usually pretty reasonable and food comes hot, have seen it can get quite busy at the weekend so shows how popular it is.
