Visited in the summer for a meal and I have to say the staff couldn't have been more attentive. All the staff in the restaurant were really friendly and one waiter in particular was so helpful and engaging with my two kids. I was also pleased there were some vegan options including vegan ice cream/sorbet for my daughter.Service: 5/5
We had a fabulous stay at the Nether Abbey. THE most comfortable bed ever in a quiet room with a view of the sea to wake up to. The staff are friendly and helpful and the huge choice breakfast we had a proper freshly cooked one sets you up for the day. Super highly recommended!Rooms: 5/5
Very expensive roast beef Sunday lunch. Meal had plenty of flavour but for the price the beef had plenty of fat on it. On arrival we where directed to a table for 2 and told we had till 7pm as the table was booked for then but told we had plenty of time. No drinks just water. Staff friendly but way too expensive for 2 plates of food. £50. On holiday so accepted where we was. Lesson learned.

There was 7 of us ladies staying last night, it was wonderful. From arriving at the hotel, the bedrooms were spotless and with beautiful bathroom with shower. We had dinner in the hotel, the food was excellent and the customer service was first class. What a great team , you should be very proud of your team wWell done and thank for making our stay such a wonderful experience. Hope to see you again soon. Highly recommend

Large room on 1st floor. Great for dogs. Staff are excellent friendly and helpful. Great location not far from the beach or the town. Food in restaurant is excellent. Enjoyed the breakfast and main meals. Will be back later in the year.Rooms: 5/5
A lovely family run hotel. Breakfast was delicious. I recommend the salmon. Room was large and clean. Su-mee not sure if I spelt that right was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond. I would definitely stay here again.Rooms: 5/5
Rushed and charmless. This is the sensation the staff at The Nether Abbey give you. Book a table for a meal, and before the first spoon of your [horrifying average] dessert has passed your lips, the staff are cleaning your table. Yes another booking is waiting. No they do not tell you this until your mains are already on the grill. In our case this involved the inpatient successive diners being paraded about our table like a North Berwick tour group; to stand over us as we ate and comment on the diorama before them. “Yes we’re tossing them out now” - a wonderfully kind comment to leave us with. Icky.
A brilliant small hotel, the staff couldn't have done any more to make our stay any better. We had a really good meal we chose the lamb for our main course, I'd suggest it was one of the best lamb dishes I've ever had. Our room was very comfortable with a great view across the Forth. Breakfast in the morning was also very good, we would happily return for another stay
