We arrived yesterday. 5/2/23 Table was booked for 1:30pm. We had to park out in the road…. As car park was full. Very busy when we arrived….. staff were very friendly chatty & helpful too. It’s our first time here. I was impressed! We were got our drinks & was shown to our table in this lovely conservatory area. Where every table was table apart from ours. Carvery service brilliant. Good fabulous food & plenty of it!!!!! So yes I will be back!!!! Vegetarian options: I noticed the menu stated that. Kid-friendliness: Yes good for families Parking: We parked in the lane outside as car park was full. Wheelchair accessibility: It looked as if you could. The pub was really roomy. Although very very busy. Dietary restrictions: I’ve looked at the menu….. it looks reasonable. Although do u do that on the carvery??
Lovely little pub! Amazing Sunday carvery, with a choice of meats and all of the trimmings! Booking would be advisable as it gets really busy on a Sunday. Great service from the staff!! Would recommend!!Food: 5/5
We have been visiting this pub over many years. Carvery nice . But does need a little refurbish as starting to look tired. Will be back and recommend.
Always love the carvery here - proper "home cooked" style and always delicious. We were discussing how tasty the pork was as it so much more flavour than anything we can get at the supermarket - much more like meat from a farmshop. Staff are always warm, friendly and welcoming. Sunday's by 11.45am the carpark is full and the queue goes all the way from the door to the carpark with people waiting to get in when they open the doors at 12noon. That's always a good indication of quality food! It's not pretty a-la-carte dining, it's good, honest, tasty generous portions of really well cooked roast dinner - it's where people who like proper food go for a decent meal, not where you leave still hungry!!
I visited with my young family while staying nearby and had a really good carvery. Not the cheapest food, but the quality was really good and you got plenty too.Food: 5/5

Fantastic food, great service, and well priced. Took my father for Fathers Day and the place was so busy. You definitely need to book in advance. Parking can be awkward but there is plenty of space up the road if car park is full. The carvery is great highly recommended it.
A country pub that concentrates on family dining. The food and service have always been excellent here. With a choice three dining rooms inside and it’s outside space, you can usually find somewhere quiet. They also offer takeaways, which I’ve not tried yet, so can’t comment on. In short they have good food that’s well priced and friendly attentive staff.
Hands down one of my favourite burgers I have had in recent times. I am literally salivating just thinking about it! The staff were lovely and the dessert that was recommended apple and rhubarb crumble, was just as g fantastic as they promised! My partner had the roast which looked and tasted very good!
