I went in to see about getting my platinum wedding ring cleaned.. the service was amazing and the jeweller came out to talk to me and find out the requirements. Great advice and within a day he had cleaned & polished making this 18 year old ring look as good as it did years ago.. good value for money and really excellent service and friendly people to help you.. all the other customers in the store were treated really well and what a lovely store!

For me "Nelken Jewellers" offers everything I could want. The service is impeccable; their work is of the highest quality and I feel valued whenever I visit them. Recently I lost a ring of intrinsic and sentimental value. I knew I could never replace it, but missed wearing it. I found a similar ring (in a pawn shop) and took it to Nelken's to see if it would be possible to build on it and make a wearable replacement. Not only were Nelken's able to achieve that; they actually furnished me with something more stunning than the original. I recommend them without hesitation: Honest; reasonably priced and a joy to deal with.

I have used them several times now for buying new jewellery, having my eternity ring re-sized and designing a new item from a cherished heirloom that was not something I would wear. Nothing is too much trouble, and the work is impeccable. For example, I recently took in some candlesticks and a tray that had been used by three or four generations of our family to be refurbished. When I got them back they looked like they were brand new!

Mr Nelken of Nelken Jewellers is a talented jewellery maker who can make and repair jewellery with exquisite precision. I have been dealing with Mr Nelken for nearly 40 years and have always found him to be courteous, helpful, trustworthy and very fair. I have bought from him, sold to him and had the pleasure of having my jewellery looked after by him. Thank you Mr Nelken and all who serve in your shop.

I lost the diamond from my engagement ring. I spoke to my insurers and then they dealt directly with Edwin Nelken. Ring is now all sorted, looks amazing and no stress for me. Very happy :-)
