My partner and I were looking to buy a house and were told we needed a solicitor before we could place a bid. Being overseas when we seen the house we liked, we weren't sure where to turn. Douglas dealt with our house move from Northern Ireland to Scotland in 2018, prepared our wills and power for attorney, and with our house sale in 2022.  The latest sale was complicated and long drawn out due to issues with an English vendor down the chain and problems with a lease.  Douglas as every the professional kept us updated and managed to keep us calm, not always easy given the circumstances assuring us it would eventually complete.  True to his word the sale went through after 23 weeks.  Douglas is very approachable, easy to deal with and professional.  I would would not hesitate to recommend his services.

Popped into  Douglas Neil, with regards to updating our wills. We found the whole experience to be friendly and informative. We were taken through several options, all in great detail and in a manner that we understood. After agreeing with our instructions, the rest of the process was made simple, a draft copy by email, and then a slight amendment to the draft, and we were all set. I would highly recommend Douglas and the service that he provides.
