Popped in after 2300 when everything else was shut, so not much choice, slightly concened as it was empty, but so glad I did.  I had a question about menu and was answered nice and clearly so ordered a lamb shish on a naan portion for 5.99 and I watched the lady get fresh fresh dough and roll it and and cook it while I waited, then get a couple of shish and cook them, ask how I wanted the salad and said I was welcome to eat in or take away.  Ok it might not have been the biggest portion but was reasonable, and it couldn't have been fresher as I watched things cooked while I waited.  The service was pleasant and friendly and happy to answer questions and interact.  I will definitely return in the future.  As it was rather empty I didn't feel right to give more for atmosphere but maybe at other time it would be higher  Parking: Late evening on road parking almost outside is available might be busier earlier as lots of shops etc around

I've recently moved back to the area, I was always a sucker for their Mixed lamb and chicken Tikka with fries and salad,so I went for a bit of nostalgia and I was well aware it was a far cry from the glory days.  Ordered my go to and was done in about 15 mins, I've got to admit I was pleasantly surprised the chicken and lamb was quite tasty the lamb was fairly tender which was a surprise no endless chewing, and they still use the nice chilli sauce. My only complaint is they need to up their game with the salad all they have is lettuce cabbage cucumber, I don't know what they have against tomatoes, the ones in the picture I cut myself and the need to bring the Jalapenos back they were well juicy back in the day the two ladies serving were pleasent enough as well

Absolutely disgusting place to eat. I have seen rats in this shop as I noticed one coming out from the back and mice droplets in the shop. DO NOT eat from here. I first didn’t believe it as I saw a news article online about rats until I witnessed with my own eyes.

I can't give any stars for the food it was disgusting and not edible. We took a quick stop here on the way back from buying our kids school uniform. My child's cheese burger meal had a dead fly in it.  I had to show this to the staff who kindley replaced it.  However we also ordered x2 lamb tikka in naan and fries.  The lamb tikka and naan was not cooked properly the lamb had an off taste and was raw and the naan was very dry and hard /rock solid.  The fries also tasted bitter and were dark yellow in colour, it tasted like the fries was fried in old oil, tasted like oil had not been changed in the fryer for a very long time .  I took one bite of naan and lamb tikka and I had to send the food back because it was not edible. The staff kindly refunded me for the food because I could not eat it and I did not want a replacement,  I was put off by the whole experience.  My poor husband however quietly ate his food even though the food was not up to scratch as he didn't want to make a further fuss because our whole experience in this place was already ruined.  Neelams many years ago going back 15 years used to be a good place to eat but it has gone down hill.   The staff don't know how to cook the food, advice for the owner is send your staff for training or get them to visit a place like Lahore Village to learn and observe how to make naan, lamb tikka etc as they clearly have no idea how to make desi food. Sorry I have had to put this negative comment but this has been my worst food experience ever and I will not be returning.

1. Food arrived half n hour late 2. Chips were soggy and cold 3. Chilli sauce spilled all over the drinks that came with the meal , absolute mess could not drink them 4. Ordered Hawaiian Burger was supposed to be a juicy chicken breast burger that was covered in BBQ sauce , with mayo lettuce and a pineapple ring . They gave a dirty lamb cheeseburger with a few sprinkled pieces of cold pineapple chunks , burger was more dry than the sahara dessert no sauce or salad . 5. The mexican chilli burger was supposed to have jalapenos chillies and salad , however it came with just a few pieces of chewy old chilli pieces thrown into the middle of the burger with no jalapeno and the burger had tasted as if the meat was not grilled properly and had a raw chewy taste . Overall a bad experience and won't be ordering from here again , should have trusted the reviews customers have left before . Would not recommend

If I could give a -3 I would. I was service raw fried chicken and when I raised it with the staff he tried to tell me it sometimes happen when you cook food  he argued with me like I was being extra, it was STILL RAW and he wanted me to pay for another meal if I wanted something else even a replacement because apparently I wasted chicken. Absolutely shocking. Never again.

Can't even make naan, honestly it has to be the worst one ever. Never like to give reviews never mind a bad one, don't try and cook if you're clearly not able. In the bin, so disappointing.Food: 1/5

I ordered food yesterday and the order was not correct and items missing. I spoke to the new manager who now owns the shop who was very rude. The standard is not the same quality and I was told it is the same chef which is not true. I now realise why for the last few weeks why I have had so many problems with just eat and now Uber. I won’t be ordering again which is a shame as I have been ordering from Neelams for over 25 years

Extremely poor! Neelams has been under new ownership for a while and the new owners just arent to up it. Paid £6.50 for Chicken Pakora and fries. Very small portion of Pakora that was blasted to death in the microwave with ok fries. The pakora was obviously not fresh and was very hard and chewy. Shame it used to be great there!Food: 1/5

Last time I went was back was.in 2006 and the place was good. Been twice in.the last week and the quality of the food is very poor and the place was dead. Very expensive and I wish I had read the reviews. Pls don't go there as you are wasting money.Food: 1/5
