Had the pleasure of dealing with the lovely gentleman who works here today. Had asked my barber if he knew anywhere which could fix the zip on my rucksack - which had come lose - and he said to try out this place. The bloke fixed it very quick and when I took out my phone to pay he said it wasn’t needed. Have no clue how long it took him to fix it but even if it was as short as a minute, that’s still a minute of his time he has chosen not to charge for. Especially when carrying my laptop in this is essential for my studies. In a world of exploitative rouge traders it’s heart warming to see someone with integrity. Will likely return next month to get some shoes fixed!
Incredibly friendly service. I needed additional holes in my high heels to make them fit my feet better. He did it for free. Very friendly and welcoming shop owner. We need to support shops like this and let more people know about it.
I needed a key cut and saw this place had good reviews. The guy was really nice, cut my key in less than two minutes and for a great price. I've just tested it and it works perfectly. Definitely recommend, thank you!
I have had great customer service from NBC. Some great advice on breaking in a new pair of boots and also mending the strap on my trusty work shoes for an extremely reasonable price. Such a helpful man.
Just had great key cutting service from Natural Born Cobblers NBC in the Merrion centre. I've been catsitting for my neighbours and I managed to break one of the tines of the key in the lock this morning. I went there with the broken key, and a photo of a sister key and he managed to create a duplicate that works better than the original! He even said that if it needed adjusting that I could go back. £4.50 and it was done in a few minutes. Brilliant. The cats are now fed, and show absolutely no indication that they were at all concerned by my absence.

Best cobbler / shoe smith in Leeds. I had a pricey pair of Loake 1880 that I no longer wore as I didn’t like the colour light tan and the leather sole was so slippy. Took them here and he professionally dyed the leather to a lovely dark brown burgundy and out a high quality but thin rubber sole and heel on. They now look brilliant, are no longer slippy and feel exactly the same when wear them. Given them a whole new life and I wear them for work all the time now instead of them hiding in the wardrobe. Thanks NBC!
Went and got my bag fixed today - very polite and helpful staff. Was ready within half an hour and only cost £3! Excellent service.
Really helpful shoe repair shop that fixed my cricket shoes straight away. A simple fix for what I thought would be a complex problem. Would definitely recommend to anyone and I’ll be back for any other repairs I need.
