Nathan has been absolutely brilliant throughout my treatment process. I went to him after a bad horse riding fall which was then impacting my running. Through plenty of treatments we got to the bottom of the issue and Nathan also sorted me out with some orthotics which have taken me from getting shin splints after running a mile to taking part in Staffs Ironman and being given a place in the London Marathon. I can’t thank Nathan enough for the amazing work he did for me. 100% would recommend.
Nathan from BN Physio has helped me tremendously, my knee and hip pain was caused by poor technique whilst jogging and working out, uneven weight distribution due to high arches- which I hadn't realised. I'm fitter than I've ever been, and can definitely feel the difference and benefits of tweaked techniques and guided workouts. Thanks Nathan.
I visited NB Physiotherapy after suffering knee pain from running. From my initial consultation I was extremely impressed with the way the problem is analysed and how Nathan produced such a personalised exercise plan. Nathan spent time explaining to me the underlying cause of the problem so I could fully understand what and how the problem was, how it needed to be corrected, and how to better manage similar issues in the future. I can fully recommend Nathan at NB Physio.
I have been using NBphysio for 12 months to support my training and as injury prevention. I have found Nathan to be a highly professional and skilled physio. Nathan works in partnership with his clients, he has the ability to think outside the box and is very much focused on individual needs. Nathan is clearly well read on new therapies and keeps up to date on research allowing him to offer a service of a high standard.
The first time I met the owner and clinical Lead Nathan Wharton was in June 2018 for a few excellent sessions in the gym. During my first consultation I remember being impressed at how knowledgeable, thorough and professional he was. I have a long standing problem with my back from 1995 ie: Disc Degeneration Disease with 4 disc bulges and mild scoliosis, so as one can imagine I have seen many Physios over the years. Everyone I've seen in the past have been generally good and well meaning but none of them came up to Nathan's calibre. He emails your plan with videos and explanations which are useful. It's tailored to meet your individual needs and requirements. In November 2018 I was at work and experienced the most crucifying muscle spasm in my lumbar after sneezing, which took me to the floor. GP referred for MRI's etc, I was seen by a Surgeon who wouldn't do a fusion due to multilevel bulges saying it was 'mechanical', he referred to a Pain Consultant who said my pain was due to severe muscle atrophy in the lumbar and spinal muscles. For those who don't know the role of a Pain Consultant, they are a complete waste of NHS resources, offering nothing except medication and very generalised advice. So, this is where NB Physiotherapy comes in again. I was SO blessed that my work's Occy Health offered me physio and referred me here. As a Christian I believe that this was a God-incidence, rather than a co-incidence! Nathan is a gifted physiotherapist. His diagnosis was spot on with the Surgeons. The Pain Consultant told me everything in that appointment that Nathan had already said weeks before. He is knowledgeable, skilled and will take time to listen, answer questions comprehensively and knows what to do and when. I had an issue with my knee at the time, he examined it and knew what the problem was. Most physios would have said that would need a different referral. His treatments kept me mobile and advice, guidance and mentorship kept me relatively sane through that period. The NHS offered me physio with an 8 week wait and then one session every two weeks. Without his input I would have been probably unable to move, in bed and giving up. My wife and extended family were all very grateful for keeping me going through that horrific time. Don't think twice about booking in, the charges are reasonable comparatively and what is more important than to invest in your health. I fully recommend NB Physiotherapy. My constant chronic, debilitating pain is something I have to live with no matter what I try, but I am eternally grateful to Nathan for getting me past that acute on chronic phase which was so very disabling. I wish him all the very best in his new business venture.
Friday 21/5/21 I visited Nathan today with a problem to do with my cycling and running, very informative and knowledgeable. He gave me instruction on stretching the affected area and massage, plus other advice. Top bloke, say as it is, which is to my liking! Thanks again Les Hughes
After suffering an achilles injury, I was recommended this service and was very glad I did. Nathan is very knowledgeable and through, gave as much time as was needed and is always available outside appointments on the phone to offer continued help and advice. He put me instantly at ease and the treatment he gave has been very effective.
