Our own landmark, built during the Napoleonic wars. Food is reasonably priced and freshly made. Great view from the top (so my husband tells me). The art exhibitions are also worth a look.

I love this place! Packed with interesting things to look at and read and when you get to the top, if you have the legs for it and a head for heights, the views are absolutely stunning!  Cheap to get in, the money helps towards the upkeep of the place.  If you are anywhere near this wonderful tower, make sure you pay a visit. Highly recommended!

Beautiful location, with an excellent tea rooms. Art gallery bits were stunning, couldn't help but pick up a few pieces.

Old navigation tower, built in the early 1700s to replace an earlier wooden beacon. Now a museum and cafe, with access to the roof for some amazing views
