My daughter Banks with Nat West and has done since b4 she left school. I am so proud of her as she has a great friendship with the bank and they look after her so well. I highly recommend National Westminster Bank to anyone really but especially to the young starters.
I would just like to thank Jamie for the wonderful service, I received recently when I phoned in with a query. The issue was resolved straight away I was satisfied and finished the call happy. I would just like to thank you for the lovely flowers I received from Natwest today, what a lovely surprise, it has made my day. What a lovely gesture. Thankyou Jamie,Thankyou Natwest.
I went up to the town centre branch about 2 weeks ago, I took a few hours early off work so I could get to the bank before it shut, I arrived at 3:10pm to find its opening hours were 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday. I had close to a thousand pounds to pay in and Lost hours at work to go and it was shut. I understand due to covid they have limited their hours but to have the hours slap bang in the middle of the majority of peoples working day is absolutely staggering. I called the customer service line and told them of my situation whilst the staff were coming out of the branch through the shutters to go home with no one wanting to make eye contact. I was then told I can pay money into my natwest account at the post office in the town centre, I tried that and it worked, so I may just go their from now on! what's the point in using the branch? When you do get in their they have one person with a headset telling you to avoid going to the counter at all costs. a line of 5 people for the paying in machine, 5 people waiting on couches and an empty desk with a member of staff. I was told the opening hours will change soon to accommodate more but even then I think it's a 430pm shut and a 9am opening so again it doesn't help some people. I gave feedback on their website and the manager of the branch called me to apologise for the inconvenience, however I was then promised a call back from someone at the branch to discuss my financial health and was given a day and time and no one called. I may switch banks as I have been with these guys for 20 years. ****update one month on**** after I finally got an appointment with a lady in branch, she called me, told me the incorrect information regarding a joint person home improvement loan and flat out refusing to accept that the bank would lend the 2 of us money. I then rang customer services and told them my issue to which they said the information she gave you is wrong, we are sorry, so instead of going back to branch I have switched accounts to someone else and been paid for it. Goodbye and good riddance, 20 years of pain gone. ****3 months on**** I have now closed all my natwest accounts and switched the others and was paid for the priveldge. Good riddance. 20 years down the drain because of this branch.
Went in yesterday and the short middle aged women with dark hair was so rude I turned straight back out the store and did it over the phone. Absolutely no need Karen
My personal service from this branch was less than satisfactory. I was met by a very rude and abrupt ‘Professional Banker’ named Paula, who could not have been less customer orientated if she tried. I was looking to switch my personal banking to NATWEST, but with the Town Centre being my nearest branch and being spoke to the way in which i was, i will no longer be considering this.
Came here during my lunch to do transaction, I was asked to sit and wait as they only have ONE CASHIER AT THE TILL, I had to sit down for 47mins before being attended to. So pathetic that most banks don't have common sense to assign more staff during peak period
I went yesterday to the bank with my husband and our children the man at the front desk was kind and helped me understand a few things with my accout truly a lovely welcoming person me and my husband couldn’t thank him enough for all his help best customer service I think I have ever gotta from anywhere BIG THANK YOU TO THE YOUNG MAN YOU MADE MY DAY
Please avoid this bank branch if you attend to have a quick trip absolutely ridiculous you have to sit and wait for anything you intend on doing with your account whilst there are staff all standing there talking and the cashier desks are empty absolute joke any other Nat West Branch you go to is quick and efficient Nat West Telford you really need to realize that people don’t have an hour break to wait for the one member of your staff who deals with everything that the rest of you don’t seriously thinking about changing my bank due to this horrendous service which is not just a one off it’s every time I attend this branch
Would be better score but having to pay to park as they have closed all the other branches so maybe they should reimburse parking charges as people have no other option if they need to use the bank went in recently no other option still had sign up showing where other branches are even though they have all been shut down
Needed to pay a cheque in but the bank has short opening times and I work 10am to 6.30 and there not open at weekends terrible service.
