If I had known one could write a review for a bank I would have done so sooner! Ever since RBS went doolally and closed it's branches South of the border I have been using NatWest branches and the High Barnet one is consistently the best. There is sometimes a queue because everyone gets the time they need. The staff are always polite, helpful and competent. When I wanted to make an appointment to discuss some transactions in private they said that if I'd like to wait a room would soon be free. I would urge people to use their bank branch because it is a life-line for those of us who cannot or will not use on-line banking and use cheques. Long may this branch and its staff continue to help High Barnet.
The great branch and very nice employees. All the staff are amazing especially Anita. She Always makes customers happy. Thank you for everything.
Some customers LOVE to chat, regardless when they turn around and see there’s a queue building and the colleague who is serving them is the only one around. After waiting on his stories, got a great service from the staff. There is self service machines, pretty straight forward to use. Smaller branch than the other natwest branches. Wasn’t too comfortable to use the machines as you have a queue sidelining and people watching you transact
Why are you no longer open on a Saturday morning?? Poor customer service. One teller who can "only deal with cash" Another staff member asking everyone what they are there for so that they have to tell the other customers their business. This uses to be a great branch. Two tellers on. Free coffee machine. No one trying to divert all the customers to the machine. Some people don't get to talk to many other people. With all the self checkouts, app ordering and banking machines we will soon be able to visit the high street and not speak to another human being.
Extremely unhelpful staff. Being 8 months pregnant not only were the rude by telling me to stand in the back of the line quite roughly, but after waiting a while and getting to the front of the line the teller went off saying they will be back. Waited over 10 mins with many staff members walking past seeing me struggle with standing. No help offered nor efficiency in service. Terrible.
Terrible branch with terrible service. Worst branch I’ve ever been to, been a RBS customer for 15 years and this has to be the worst experience I ever had. Those on the tills look as if they don’t care, lady on the till failed to cancel a direct debit for me - meaning I was charged £87.99! Was told the chap in the glasses has left, he was the only one that atleast smiled in this damned branch! He to look lost at times but he still tried to care unlike these lot! The manager needs to run her branch more effectively or leave!!! Give your staff training on their body language. Simple as that! Will be moving both my mortgages to Santander! Rant over.
Unhelpful, useless, moronic, pen pushing, robots. not sure if this is down to the banks recruitment policy or the branch manager but something needs to be done about the staff morale and interactions with the customer. it was such a shame that the branch in Whetstone was closed as they were a top class branch, chalk and cheese.
Very friendly & cooperative staff. Though wait time is long, it's good the work is done.
I walked out of here again this morning because the queue was out of the door. Probably pushing people to online by offering the minimal level of service they can get away with.
Helpful staff always have no problems
