I pulled into this station to let my engine cool after overheating on the motorway. I was low on coolant so waited for the engine to cool before topping up and being able to safely continue my journey. Purchased products from the store whilst we waited. I then noticed the sign saying 30 min stay. I spoke to the staff members and explained my predicament and they assured me that if I left my registration with them I would not receive a fine. I have now received a fine, contacted BP customer services but no response in 9 days. I will now have to begrudgingly pay the fine before the penalty charge rises but will never use BP again!
I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I experienced at this BP location.nnWhen I arrived, there was a queue at the till. While waiting, I picked up a lemonade and started adding salt to it to save time before paying. A member of staff then told me to pay first. I immediately went to the front and explained that I was not trying to leave without paying and was simply preparing my drink while waiting in the queue.nnThe staff member responded in a very rude and aggressive manner, saying, “I don’t care,” and then abusing word During the incident, he also made comments referring to my race and the fact that I am White British, which I found to be discriminatory and completely unacceptable.nnI am shocked that this kind of behaviour can occur in a customer facing role. I have photographic evidence of the incident and intend to make a formal complaint. As the company is closed today, I will be contacting them tomorrow, and I will also report this matter to the relevant authorities for investigation.nnNo customer should be subjected to abusive language or racial discrimination. I am deeply disappointed that BP would employ staff who behave in this manner, and I expect this complaint to be taken seriously.
went to the BP Petrol Station in Porters Bar and bought £44 of fuel. My son and I were extremely thirsty on a 35-degree day in London. When we asked for water, they refused. I didn’t even need the fuel, but they denied us water anyway. If you can’t sell water, you shouldn’t be in business. This is beyond disappointing. Close the place down if you can’t provide basic human needs.
I have used this garage for over 12 years for food and petrol and can with complete honesty say that the staff on site in the shop on 27th Feb at 2pm are a disgrace.nRude to customers , completely unattentive and borderline stackable.nI shall never use your station again after what I saw and heard.nThe waster of a young man should be ashamed of himself talking to people like that.nI shall be contacting MAndS directly as that sort of manner to customers is unacceptable
Received a fine through for £75 for unpaid bill of £14… I only stopped there to use the loo only!nn*** BP negligently mis-handled CCTV, checked the wrong date, and then claimed staff had “witnessed” fuel theft that never happened. Because of their mistake, my personal details and images were taken and sent to a debt collector for a debt that didn’t exist. Only after I challenged it did BP admit fault, apologise and wipe the charge. Even worse, they carelessly disclosed another customer’s name and receipt to me, and shared my own personal data with third parties with no lawful basis. They’re now refusing to confirm deletion of my data or provide a complaints process. This shows a worrying lack of care, accuracy and respect for data protection law. All of this while I was having my fist child. Very poor, unlawful and negligent handling — proceed with caution.**
