BP are STEALING your money at the pumps!! Next time you use the petrol pumps at a BP station, pay attention to when the fuel actually starts coming out of the pump compared to when the money starts going up. I've been to a few BP stations recently as has my partner. We have both realized that the pump starts charging you way before the fuel starts to come out of the nozzle!! I have found that the pump is up to at least 50p before your car actually gets any petrol. My partner used the BP in Potters Bar recently to get fuel for his motorcycle. The way his bike's petrol tank is set up he can visibly see the fuel going in. The pump he used showed 11p had rung up before any fuel actually came out, so he decided to mention it to the staff, assuming that the pump just needed recalibrating or something. He politely told the girl behind the counter about the issue. A male member of staff butted into the conversation and rudely told my partner that if he didn't like it, go away and use somewhere else!! We could understand his reaction if my partner had gone in shouting and complaining, but he hadn't! He just mentioned it casually as he paid for his fuel. The staff member was very rude, unfriendly and totally dismissed the issue. Think about it people. If 10 to 50 pence is taken from every customer every day before any fuel is given, that adds up to a LOT of money BP are taking and giving nothing back! It is not just the Potters Bar branch that this is happening at either. BP in Barnet AND in Borehamwood also has this issue as I discovered recently when refuelling my car. From now on I will not be using a BP station unless I absolutely have to, and I advise you to check the pumps from now on too if you have to use them, as IT IS THEFT.
Had some trouble with the tyre pump. One of the staff members helped me out immensely. Nice guy, didn't catch his name unfortunately
I went to the cashier and told him that i want to pay SEPARATELY my items, the Diesel had to be paid with my company diesel card The cashier didnt care at all, charge me for Diesel on my account and they refused to cancel my transaction; being their error not mine. Now i have issues at work for their ignorance and laziness Thanks BP Potters Bar staff for wasting my work time making my day a nuissance
Very helpful staff wife was in need of assistance with tyre pressure and kids in vehicle staff was very helpful and polite
Good fuel station, always helpful, great M&S food too!!
I've worked in patient transport for over 10 years. Working for and underpartnership in royal free hospitals nhs. Done my bit through corvid. Exposed my young family to high risks. Today a jumped up member of staff didn't give me a pound coffee because he looked at my ambulance and it didn't have blue lights on it. I've got ambulance written on my shirt with nhs. A nhs badge. Full greens. This sicko says it because we are not emergency. He may be pushing m&s or coffee bean policy but he didn't have be a narcissistic. It's an emergency when your gran or grandad needs to get at home at 14hrs to see nurses and physio. Also as Ambulance drivers we are obligated to stop for public incidents to stabilise them until a paramedic gets there. Never mind the untold times we've been at a crash and fire scene 30 minutes before anyone else. The definition of an ambulance is this. Quote "A vehicle equipped for taking sick or injured people to and from hospital" To and from. That's what we do you insulant nasty man. Hope you get in my AMBULANCE one day. Its so disgusting and discriminating.
Very rude staff. There is no water on the air&water dispenser. Even though you get charged and it doesn't work they don't provide refund. AVOID AVOID AVOID... WASTE OF MONEY
