Was a loyal customer and recommended the Nationwide to others for many years. Not any more! Recently, there seems to have bee a real slip in the standards of service. Staff are friendly enough, but have their hands tied by internal bureaucracy. They are ever so happy to sell you a product, but unable to assist when you have problems and can't get through to their call centre. Very disappointing!

A very good branch of the well respected building society. Extremely helpful staff who offer sound advice on savings and mortgages.
