I have a mortgage with nationwide Which has been quite reasonable but I just wanted to pop in to make an appointment but I had dog with me the snooty women on door said you can't come in with the dog so I had to take dog home and go back I wasn't very pleased

Arrived at the Nationwide on Saturday to withdraw £1200 from the counter service. There was a queue to the door when I arrived..But ok it was Saturday...The queue buster lady asked me if i could do my transaction at the machine, but I explained I needed the counter as I required £1200 cash withdrawal, I was then told that the counter staff could only dispense max £500, i said very poor service if I could not withdraw a relatively small amount of cash from a bank, to which the response I got was that "we are a building society". Very poor service, poor customer service, not enough staff serving at the counters, why do they offer a current account if they cannot offer basic services.

Awful experience.After being put through to someone  I was cut off.I then got to speak to someone who seemed  to not have a clue what they were talking about.I wanted to come into branch to discuss my options when my endowment policy was paid up a year before the end of the mortgage finished and wether it was best to pay it all off at that time but was told that no one in branch would be able to discuss this with me Unbelievable!.Rubbish service Nationwide and you've missed out on me swapping my current account to your branch
