Had a great experience here at the Motor museum today. It’s so full of history and interesting, even if you do not have an interest in cars. There are so many cars and motorbikes to look at and you can easily spend hours there. There are many cars in movies and it’s all fascinating. You can also visit the abbey or other attractions in the surrounding area after as it is also included in your ticket. I would also recommend going on the monorail as it gives you a great view of the grounds and the motor museum from the top as well. There is also a great play area for children under 14 It’s great for its value and I would recommend coming!
Absolutely brilliant day out. The facilities were all very well maintained and clean, the staff were all welcoming and helpful. There was obviously a beautiful collection of cars, but we also really enjoyed exploring he rest of the site too don't miss the falconry display!. I'd really recommend Beaulieu for a day out for all ages.
Visited with my grandson which was great to share after having visited 20 years ago with my children. It was actually better than I remembered. We walked around both the Abbey and house as well. All in all a lovely experience; although quite pricey. However, I guess is justified as I am sure it costs a lot to maintain with wages for staff and upkeep.
£28 for an adult ticket was well worth it. You can easily spend all day in the museum and all the surrounding gardens and exhibits. We only read a small amount of what was available and found it so interesting. The world war secret training and the house in particular were worth the visit. Grounds are beautiful. The staff were very nice and helpful especially when the wife lost her phone. Will definitely visit again.
First visit in 30 years and it didn't disappoint! The motor museum is exactly what you want. Full or rich history, information signboards, audio information and cars! Lots and lots of cars, motorbikes, vans etc. A car lovers wet dream! Take a trip on the monorail to see the whole place from high up. Walk around the gardens and off to see the palace. Visit the secret WW2 exhibition. And in-between all of that, visit one of the cafés or restaurants dotted around. There is plenty of seating inside and out. The toilets are a tight squeeze, but no shortage of them. All in all I'd say it's a great day out and caters for every member of the family. Don't expect top quality food! But it's definitely not the worst. The workforce are a young bunch and need a bit of direction. But are friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend for a fun day out.
We had a really fantastic time at Beaulieu! Lots to do and lots of variety. Not just cars. Great day out! The collectible character and car cards are a brilliant idea!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
We went here for the supercar event. It was a pretty good day but I think if it wasn’t for the supercar day we would have not lasted a whole day. The museum and the top gear exhibits were quite good, some interesting things to look at. The house was house was also interesting although I feel it could have been better, the did have some old hats and games that the kids could play with. I think the prices are quite expensive given what’s actually here when there is not event on, it’s not a place I’d be rushing back to.
Absolutely brilliant museum in a fantastic setting. It has many old cars and motorbikes with some newer classics mixed in. It also has some TV and movie cars as well! I found them all fascinating! Land speed record cars and historic garage settings. There's too much to mention. It's well worth a visit. I'm sure I'll go back.
Unbelievable amount of cars from 1930's to present day ...including Bond Convertible Jag an amazing shade of green due to real gold mix in the paint. At the time of filming £1000 ltr ...now repairs if needed £5000. Lots of other events going on plus great restaurant and souvenir shop Visited onWeekdayWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedNo
Spent a few hours here whilst on a New Forest Tour bus. Would loved to have explored the palace, but didn't have time. Much to see with a fascinating exhibition of cars and bikes, some featured in Top Gear, films and television programmes. The monorail is a must to give you an overview of the grounds, so good to get on that first, and it gets quite busy later during the day. There's also a small double decker bus which transports you from the main exhibits to the palace and back again. Plenty of open space and benches if you want to bring your own picnic.
