Cosy french cafe feeling to dine at Martineau Place. Serves vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals, a selection of cakes and cafe drinks. Allegedly, halal though no signs or certificates seen. Had Jerk Chicken Pasta, was good, and Peri Peri Chicken Pasta, not good. Bill was more than reasonable. A positive experience.
Brilliant food, well cooked and fresh. Food is never served cold. Great dining area and selection of cakes. Highly recommended.

Very friendly .... food is tasty and prepared with care.... no plastic . Wonderful coffee Arabica .... apparently from Somalia... will definitely go again .
I've been here several times over the years and it's a great place for good value food light lunches and a stopping off place when shopping in the city centre for coffee and cake. It's out the way and a gem. Owner is friendly and helpful. Portuguese custard tarts are amazing.
I have a dairy allergy and told them about it. I found cheese on my baguette and ate it. Not a pleasant experience! I dont recommend this place they do not seem to care about food allergies
