Great customer service, I would recommend this coffee shop because they have a special policy: if you don't serve customers in under three minutes you offer them a discount or give them a free drink. George [assistant manager] made us feel welcome. We want to thank all of the staff and especially George Brown for giving us a tour around the building. Boys Mentoring Group.
I went in just as they were closing on a Saturday afternoon. My original reason for going in was to change my son who had had an "accident" on the bus. He then asked for a coffee when I asked him if he wanted a drink! So, I don't think any place does kid's coffees but the ladies made him up a special little one which was good of them. I had a caramel cappuccino which was really nice. It did need sugar but I expected that! The prices are far better than other similar places, it's clean and the staff were real people who were capable of using their initiative. I have noticed that's quite rare in certain other coffee shops. I would definitely recommend coffee republic to anyone who wants a decent coffee at a decent priced served by decent people.
my new favourite place to get breakfast, when I visit Birmingham. the staff are really lovely and polite, the place has a warm, friendly feel to it and the food is not just delicious, but also very inexpensive.... all together.... an absolute delight to eat in
The only things that kept me from giving five stars is that the staff on the day I visited were a bit flakey and the card machine refused both of my credit cards so I had to use my debit card. the guy behind the counter says this happens quite a bit so not to worry. If it happens quite a bit then maybe time for a new machine?
