Narberth Dental Health Practice

Fantastic Fabulous & Friendly however on my second visit with a different dentist at the practice where I had my gums and teeth cleaned ,which was great. I was then informed that I needed further treatment of several very small fillings I felt that I was not listened to as this involved fluoride ,which is contained in the fillings.Fluoride is a very toxic chemical of which I am also allergic to. This information is in my files and which I stipulated and was the condition and why I joined the practice right from the beginning,as I was reassured that it would not be used and that other substances could be used which do not contain metals or fluoride.I have had filings and work done on my teeth in the distant past which did not contain any metals nor fluoride in fact plastic.I am well aware that there are no completely safe compounds and that it is swings and roundabouts.

I changed to this practice recently as it was nearer to home and I needed a dental implant. The permanent crown was fitted on the implant last week and I am very pleased with it. The process was explained very well at every stage and there were no hidden costs. I can also highly recommend the staff for their friendliness and efficiency and for the best scale and polish I have had in years!

After hearing glowing reports from my sister about the service she received at Narberth Dental Health Practice, we decided to book appointments to have work done on our teeth leading to implants, even though we live an hour and a half away. We are very pleased with the treatment we have received, and have found the prices more than competitive. The atmosphere in the clinic is always relaxing and friendly.

Appreciate I’m a lone voice here but my experience was not great. Mainly because of the money side. Asked for check up and scale and polish as new patient. They couldnt do both on same visit which frankly was tedious. New patient check up and 3 X-ray was £78. Then planned planned scale and polish the next week for £65. Nothing actually wrong with my teeth. Total cost £143. Found a different practice where I had check up, scale and polish and X-rays in the same sitting for £86. the money isn’t everything, but it has to be factored in.

I attended recently for a six monthly dental check-up, clean and polish. The examination was very thorough but my mouth proved too sensitive for much of the cleaning process, although the polishing was completed successfully. I transferred to this Practice approximately two years ago and feel the health of my teeth has been well protected, during that time.
